What is WEMET?
WEMET is a digital business card platform that uses Near Field Communication technology for contactless sharing of professional information. It targets enterprises, small and medium sized businesses, startups and freelance professionals seeking to update networking and lead generation workflows. The system combines physical NFC enabled cards with a digital management platform that centralizes contact sharing, lead collection and team administration across organizations of varying sizes.
Customization options are provided through an online configurator on the platform, enabling design of cards with company logos, brand colors and selection of eco responsible materials such as upcycled wood or recycled PVC. Each physical card contains an embedded NTAG type NFC chip and a QR code to ensure compatibility with NFC enabled and non NFC smartphones including iOS devices from iPhone XS onward and most Android models. The digital profile associated with each card can be configured to include contact details, social media links, customer reviews, presentation videos, downloadable documents and custom links to websites or scheduling systems. The platform allows updates to digital profiles in real time without requiring new physical cards.
Lead collection functionality captures contact information from recipients who interact with shared profiles and stores this data in a personal dashboard. Advanced statistics and reporting features enable tracking of profile views, interaction rates and conversion metrics, and performance comparison across team members. Centralized team management allows administrators to import employee information in bulk, update multiple digital profiles simultaneously and maintain brand consistency across the organization. Email signature management integrates with business cards to enable synchronized deployment of professional signatures across teams. Physical cards can also be added to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet for instant access without carrying the physical card.
The platform integrates with third party customer relationship management systems including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Microsoft solutions through an optional wSales feature that enables automatic lead enrichment and direct CRM synchronization. Integration with Google Contacts supports contact management and export in CSV format or directly to Google Sheets. The wMail add on provides compatibility with email clients including Outlook and Gmail for centralized signature deployment. Basic functionality is available without subscription requirements, and optional subscription services include wSales at one euro twenty five cents per month for CRM integration and lead enrichment and wMail at two euros fifty cents per month for email signature management. All data is hosted on servers located in France and compliant with GDPR regulations, with no personal information stored on the NFC chip itself beyond a link to the digital profile. A fully virtual card option operates exclusively through QR codes without physical production and supports integration into email signatures, websites and social media profiles.
