Wix is the best platform for do-it-yourself shops who don't have the benefit of in-house website support, but also has coding features which appeals to those who want to delve into coding for additional customization.

The clunky, click-heavy media storage system—which forces you to repeatedly dig through multiple folder layers without remembering your previous location—is a glaring UX oversight that slows down heavy design work.

I enjoy that I can create landing pages for ads that link either directly to another website page or a booking page (embedded in my website!!).

It doesn’t anchor your last location. When you’re dealing with dozens of technical image placements, this lack of basic continuity turns a simple task into a tedious, time-wasting chore. Once the assets are finally on the canvas, the system is great—but getting them there is a painful, click-heavy experience that desperately needs a workflow overhaul.

Also, the mobile view sometimes needs a little manual tweaking after you finish the desktop version to make sure everything lines up correctly. Despite those small learning curves, it’s been a reliable and fairly fun platform to use for getting a business site up and running quickly.
