Pros

The integration with other Adobe apps like InDesign. Best PDF editing features that enable me to edit a PDF file in any way I like and convert it in any format and back to PDF format as I'm pleased.
My favorite and most used feature is its seamless integration for the Adobe creative package which also includes photoshop, indesign, and illustrator.
The ability to share documents and have all edits and comments saved right in the document with information on who made them provides accountability and streamlined communication.

Pros

Overall I use the programme daily and I am happy about what is allows me to do. My favourite part is that is can convert pdf documents to excel and word.
PDF Reader Pro provides exciting services to its users free of cost but when you get there paid version you can access all its useful tools and features.
I have had a very easy and intuitive setup with PDF Reader Pro. It's made completing contracts and sending invoices very easy in my business and I am glad it integrates well with my other systems.

Cons

It's a little difficult to go back and forth between these functions. There are certain problems with text scanning that cause some characters to be misinterpreted.
Horrible customer service, difficultnti work with HP printing software. It is also not in real time.
Adding comments can be a struggle. I end up spending too much time while at it.

Cons

The ads that keep popping up on my screen while I use the app is really frustrating. Furthermore, sometimes the app just hooks and becomes so slow.
Many of the features that PDF Reader Pro offers must be purchased separately. Sometimes it is sluggish for larger files.
You have to pay in order to access all these pro features.

Best PDF Reader for Windows

Reviewed 5 years ago

I found that Microsoft Edge's built in PDF reader wasn't very good at printing forms to the correct size, so I installed Adobe Acrobat DC and I use that now for PDFs. I have had good results with printing, and forms always come out the correct size now.

Pros

I've found that Acrobat Reader DC is the better PDF viewer on Windows, and better than Microsoft Edge's built in PDF reader.

Cons

I dislike that I have to keep updating the software, which sometimes requests I restart my computer.

Adobe Acrobat Review

Reviewed a year ago

Apart from the occasional crash and running slow, Adobe Acrobat is the most reliable PDF reader there is. Even though i often use other PDF software I always prefer Adobe Acrobat as my default PDF reader/editor.

Pros

It is the most frequently used and default pdf software in my pc. I have used and is being using Adobe Acrobat mainly for pdf reading and occasionally to edit and create PDFs.Adobe Acrobat has a user-friendly interface, even a person without much technical knowledge could easily understand and make use of it. Being free and usually pre-installed when buying a (windows) PC, it is easily accessible unlike ither PDF tools. Much like other Adobe Products, it have a very cozy

Cons

Even though Adobe Acrobat is a reliable application, it often crashes when I use it along with other application running in background. It sometimes doesn't work as efficiently when there are multiple instances of it running concurrently, for this reason I often have to try other PDF readers.

Though the cost is much higher than other PDF editors, the quality of the work it provides is far more greater than the cost.

A good default PDF application

Reviewed 5 years ago

Good basic PDF reader. Markup and text boxes is a handy feature.

Pros

Adobe DC does a good job opening PDF files. It also has some limited features, such as the ability to put text boxes, call outs, markups, and shapes on a PDF. The zoom to page width, zoom to whole page, and marque zoom are also very helpful. Depending on the PDF, you can also select text to copy onto your clipboard and paste elsewhere.

Cons

Adobe DC is mostly for reading PDFs. If you want to anything advanced, you need to get Adobe Pro.

Still a nice offer but I wanted more for less.

Reviewed 3 years ago

It is no longer the default PDF reader. Long live the browser.

Pros

It is just a defacto type system that is familiar to my office so it feel like a must have. The snapshot feature allows for easy capture of images to insert into Word of other documents. Very easy method to include an "electronic" scanned copy of your signature, which stays in your Adobe DC reader for easy click and sign off.

Cons

I am just offered much more and is now expecting much more of the paid features to be free. The rotate view features confused me, one will like to simple rotate one or two pages but the full document gets rotated. To much ads! the software seem to be an invitation to treat, users click and then are asked to pay for this feature of that feature....

In our institution it is essential to have this software on all the computers that are purchased for everyone, because pdf files are received by mail every day and they need to be read because students send us documentation and registration paperwork in pdf format

Pros

The pdf reader is essential in our institution because we use many files that come in pdf format and it is necessary to read them, review them and transfer the information from pdf to other platforms, so it is essential to have the pdf reader

Cons

For many years we have used this software because it is very complete with respect to the tools it has and the best thing is that it is free and easy to use and install.

Overall Acrobat DC is a great pdf program and much better than other free programs that try to mimic the real pdf reader.

Pros

I have to say Acrobat Reader DC is a great upgrade to past Adobe readers. This versions seems to be much bigger install wise but runs so much smoother. I rarely have issues with the installation of Reader DC or using it in general. Font and images are rendered much better then previous versions.

Cons

PDF files are Ubiquitous , so it pays to be adept with Adobe Acrobat

Reviewed a year ago

Since PDF files are supported everywhere it's essential to dealing with documents. Once when I bought a condo I had to send the Master Deed to my insurance agent but I only had a paper copy of the deed. Luckily our printer/scanner has a scan to PDF doc feature where it sends the produced doc to my e-mail address; a life saver. My day to day experience is typically just using Acrobat for reading documents, occasionally I'll encounter a document which is setup such that I can fill-in prepared form entries with just Acrobat Reader, PRO not required.

Pros

Standards are a good thing and PDF is the de facto standard for regular documents and Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and the pre-eminent PDF reader, it's use is a no brainer.

Cons

Adobe Acrobat Pro is needed for PDF creation or adhoc free editing. Acrobat Pro is too expensive for a casual user. Therefore typically only a few workers for whom document creating/editing is an essential part of their job have a Acrobat Pro license.

After using so many pdf reader I found this and using since 7 years and it changed my experience about pdf reader. its very easy to use and edit pdf files in this and gives me many other feature like to find any words in pages to underline any special object. The only issue i believe is that it suddenly crashes or closed while opening or editing a file which makes me frustrated.

Pros

Its a great Pdf reader software i have been using since 7 years. it makes easy to read and edit my pdf files and also for sharing its better than any other pdf reader without any ads. The best feature of this software is that it enables you to find any words in your document in just a seconds. you can easily jump to the page you wish to read immediately.

Cons

Its a little expensive than other pdf reader and sometimes becomes slow or just closed while opening the document.

PDF Reader Pro provides the independence of document editing, creating signatures, file sharing, document conversion, PDF reading, text editing, highlighting, File merging, etc. with great ease of deployment at minimum cost.

Pros

PDF Reader Pro is a simple PDF viewer for Windows that includes basic customization options. It is available for a free trial of 7 days and then available at a low and affordable price.  This does not require any special requirement of the system. This application offers a minimal set of capabilities for dealing with Adobe Acrobat files in a simple implementation. It has great features including OCR.

Pros

I use it when adobe is not working or I can’t open from there.

Cons

I use it as a back up for adobe. It works fairly well.

Adobe For Documents

Reviewed 4 years ago

Adobe does what we need it to do, and we are pleased.

Pros

Adobe provides a secure platform for sensitive documents to be viewed and shared with ease and efficiency.

Cons

When the software has to be updated, the process can be somewhat inconvenient and occasionally causes compatibility issues.

Is great after figuring out how to use

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall my experience was ok. I think it is comparable to adobe pdf reader once you get the hang of it.

Pros

I had some trouble moving pdfs into the app at first but the support team was really helpful and responsive.

Cons

I wish the instructions were more clear and listed out in a simple format. It took me a few tries to learn how to highlight and write on my pdfs.

PDF Reader Pro

This looks too familiar

Reviewed 5 years ago

The first time I met PDF Editor Pro the person who owned the computer was sure he had purchased Adobe's Acrobat Pro. PDF Editor Pro handled the PDF problem we had just fine, but I can definitely see why he thought it was a different piece of software.

Pros

PDF Reader Pro is actually a decent PDF editor. It does what you expect of a PDF editor. It does decent OCR and can edit and merge pages easily.

Cons

I know of a similar product with a similar logo and a similar name. This is not cool! PDF Reader Pro is actually strong enough not to seem like a ripoff of another program. The monthly cost of the two are similar as well.

Vendor response

PDF Reader Pro

Most cost-efficient alternative to the expensive competition.

Reviewed 5 years ago

I use PDF Reader Pro for graduate school work and for writing my thesis. The native Mac OS option for PDF reading/editing is limited at best. PDF Reader Pro allowed me to become very efficient due to its great search functionality, editing capability, and fast performance. In my opinion, it outperforms Adobe products.

Pros

Low price for the functionality offered. Butter-smooth scrolling and great performance. Packed with features. Advance search funcionality.

Cons

I don't like the "home" tab loads every time I start the program.
