BeepBack overview

What is BeepBack?

BeepBack is missed-call text-back for local service businesses in the US. It sits behind the number you already use and turns unanswered calls into written-up leads, qualified by text before you call back.

HOW IT WORKS

Forward your line on no-answer or busy to the local number BeepBack provisions for you. A missed call gets a short spoken greeting in your business name, then a text from that number within seconds. If you answer, nothing sends. The assistant runs a short scripted exchange: the job, how soon (1 = emergency/today, 2 = this week, 3 = just a quote), the address, and the name. Every caller-facing message is a template you can rewrite, apart from your business name and “Reply STOP to opt out” in the first text, which carrier rules require. AI never writes to your customers; it only organizes and summarizes conversations for you.

CORE FUNCTIONS

- Missed-call capture by call forwarding, with your pick of greeting voice

- Lead records with the conversation, extracted details, urgency, and status

- Escalating alerts: text, email, and in-app the moment a caller replies

- For an unopened possible emergency, a reminder after about ten minutes and a call to your cell after about thirty; a second phone and email can get the same alerts

- Take over any conversation from the portal; your reply sends from the business number, not your cell

- Booking in a couple of taps, a weekly view of booked jobs, and Propose times: send two or three slots, the caller picks one

- Optional after-hours call-out fee quoted by text with a recorded YES or NO

- Controls: quiet hours, pause the assistant, pause texting and billing for up to three months, no double-texting a repeat caller, and a cap of three unanswered texts a day

- Weekly email scoreboard and monthly report card, from the jobs you mark won

SPECIFICATIONS

- Delivery: web app that works in a phone browser. Nothing to install.

- Coverage: United States only, on the US carrier texting program (A2P 10DLC).

- Numbers: a local number in your area code, registered under your business, not a short code. Forwarding works from landline, VoIP, or cell lines. Calls from numbers that can’t receive texts are still logged the moment they happen, and those numbers are never texted again.

- Language: the assistant asks in English. If a caller answers in another language, or in a way it can’t sort confidently, you get an alert and take over. Support is in English or Spanish.

- Setup: about ten minutes on your side, then carrier verification of your business, usually about two weeks, sometimes longer. No LLC or EIN required.

INTEGRATIONS

BeepBack runs alongside whatever CRM, scheduler, or phone system you already have. It does not connect to them and does not need to: nothing to cancel, no number to port. Your booked week publishes as a read-only feed for Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars, and BeepBack never reads or changes your own calendar. Leads export to CSV.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

Within our own systems, message content and caller data are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored and processed in the United States, and deleted or redacted after 12 months. Standard SMS is not encrypted once handed off to the wireless carriers, as with any text message. STOP and HELP are handled automatically, and opt-out records are kept so a STOP is always honored. BeepBack acts as a service provider to the business it texts for, never sells personal information, and never shares or sells mobile information or SMS opt-in data for marketing. Messages only go to someone who just called that business: no cold outreach, no campaigns. Every out-of-the-box template is published publicly on the SMS disclosures page.

PRICING AND SUPPORT

$79 a month flat, or $790 a year (two months free). No setup fee, no contract, no per-text charges, no caps. No charge until your number is live, then a 30-day free trial. Cancel in the app. Email support with a same-day human reply. Operated by Sena Engineering LLC, New Jersey.
