Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Bloom Analytics overview
What is Bloom Analytics?
Bloom is a profit analytics and marketing attribution app built natively for Shopify. It is designed for direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands that need to understand what their business actually keeps after every cost is accounted for, rather than treating top-line revenue as a proxy for financial health.
The app connects to a merchant's Shopify store and Amazon storefront to pull in all revenue, cost, and expense data. It assembles a complete profit and loss report from gross revenue down to net profit. The core reporting view, the Profit Table, surfaces contribution margin at three tiers: CM1 (revenue minus cost of goods sold), CM2 (CM1 minus marketing and advertising costs), and CM3 (CM2 minus operating expenses and overheads). This layered structure helps merchants pinpoint exactly where margin is leaking rather than relying on a single bottom-line figure that obscures the source of the problem.
Profit reporting extends across five dimensions: product, order, country, ad channel, and email campaign. Merchants can see which SKUs are margin-positive after ad spend, which countries contribute profit versus which drain it through shipping and returns, and which email campaigns generate orders that remain profitable once fulfillment costs are included. Each report is built to surface a clear next step: scale, cut, or fix.
The marketing attribution system is powered by a first-party tracking pixel (the Bloom Pixel) installed on the merchant's storefront. It collects first-party data and feeds it into six attribution models, giving multiple perspectives on ad performance. Rather than relying on the conversion numbers reported by ad platforms, the system ties ad spend directly to orders processed in Shopify, showing which channels generate profitable orders and which are only claiming credit.
Daily ad spend from Meta, Google, and TikTok is pulled automatically and incorporated into the profit calculations. Revenue figures reconcile against Shopify's own reported numbers, so the starting point of every calculation matches the source of truth the merchant already trusts.
Daily profit insights are delivered automatically via email or Slack. Merchants can also connect to MCP-compatible AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to run custom analyses against their own store data without logging into a separate dashboard.
The product is built for DTC brands running on Shopify, particularly those advertising across multiple paid channels. It fits teams that have outgrown spreadsheet-based profit tracking but do not need a full enterprise BI platform. Integrations include Shopify, Amazon, Meta (Facebook and Instagram Ads), Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Slack, email, ChatGPT, and Claude.
Often compared with Triple Whale, Lifetimely, TrueProfit, and BeProfit. The primary distinction is a focus on layered contribution margin analysis (CM1, CM2, CM3) combined with first-party attribution, delivering a profit-first view rather than a revenue-first view augmented with cost overlays.
