Our marketing automation solutions help you generate more high-quality sales leads and win more business with less manual effort to improve marketing return on investment (ROI).

Most Marketo customers start with email marketing with basic drip nurturing and simple scoring, and then move on to more sophisticated lead scoring and nurturing campaigns that help turbo boost your lead generation efforts. Marketo is the only solution that starts you up quickly and easily with the basics, while still giving you room to develop your marketing strategies as your business grows.

Marketing automation minimizes the busy work so you can focus on the creativity and quality of your messaging and offers, and lets you produce campaigns like a marketing department ten times your size. The result? More interest, more leads, and more revenue.

Great tool for Marketing automation for larger companies

Verified Reviewer  23rd of December, 2015 16:21

Max Francisco, LATAM Marketing Programs Manager at Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company
Great tool for marketing automation and pretty much is one of the tools that are helping define the standard in this market. It is a great tool with lots of possibilities but it's not easy to use and ramping up can take some time. That is expected though from such a type of tool.

Pros: Many possibilities when it comes to emailing, profiling and working with lists, integration with SFDC and other CRM systems. Landing pages also offer great possibility.

Cons: Because of its nature, it can take time to ramp up and caution is recommended before giving licenses away at the company. Training is necessary and a strategy for the companys marketing execution.

Full Power Marketing Automation

With Marketo you have a Marketing Automation Suite is great to create straight forward lead capturing campaigns but also sophisticated marketing campaigns with dynamic content and multi-dimensional campaigns. It is a full Marketing Platform with a lot of features to save time and crate successful campaigns. It works fine with Salesforce CMR and SAP C4C (Cloud)

Pros: Customer Support and Training. Never had such a professional, but also demanding introduction. But they know, why they are doing it. The Platforms possibilities are huge and will provide the success you need to afford it. Almost everything is possible. Each step of a campaign can be adjusted. You can create your own reports at any stage in the campaign. To copy a whole campaign, including landing pages, flows and all e-mails take just a few clicks. But what is really impressive; to adjust the copied campaign to it’s new date, location a.o. it’s another click and you are up and running.

Cons: If it is your first Marketing Automation Software, go and hire a consultant. It is hard to get into the system, if this topic is new for you. There are a few decision you have to take (structure) in an early stage that will cause more work if there are wrong or just missed. Also because of its flexibility it is hard to understand and at it first few rather complex than logical. You definitely need do invest time to get it up and running.

Powerful beast

Verified Reviewer  17th of December, 2015 09:24

Joe Walton, Email Marketing Executive
Been using Marketo for close to a year, and in this time have gone from complete novice to Marketo geek. It is packed with functionality, which is often underused because it has been set up wrongly, or you've never learnt how to use it. There is LOADS of help on their site, including how-to docs and a very active, helpful community. Make sure to get set up by experts, and USE THE DOCS to learn.

Pros: - Very powerful - so, so much more than an email marketing platform. - When set up properly, reporting becomes tonnes easier. - Becomes a crucial backbone for growing a marketing department. - Great support docs and superb community.

Cons: - Time consuming and confusing at times. - We've had a fair few bugs. - Very expensive.

Almost impossible to integrate with Salesforce

If you don't know anything about Marketo, you better hire a consultant to set it up. And get a good consultant. Setup is time consuming, configuration is frustrating and we still can't get it to work the way we want it to

Pros: Cool features, sales insight is a good addition.

Cons: Hard to install and configure

Comprehensive, easy to use all-in-one marketing automation solution

We originally started using Eloqua (2 years ago). Unfortunately, we ended up finding out that a few of our use cases weren't supported very well in Eloqua at the time. We then launched both Marketo and Salesforce about a year ago. What we prefer about Marketo is that it is constantly evolving and improving: over the last year they have added a number of additional features that make it even more of an irreplaceable tool for my team. If this app improved reporting latency issues and improved workflow set, I would give it 6 stars!

Pros: seamless Salesforce integration

Cons: reporting latency issues

Great Marketing Automation Tool

Marketo is a great tool to create both basic and very sophisticated programs and campaigns. One feature that I simply adore is the ability to have a separate marketing database from my SFDC database. I find Markto a very user-friendly tool, however if you encounter any difficulties they can be easily solved thanks to amazing and very professional customer support. Overall, this is a great solution and I highly recommend it.

Pros: Over the top customer support

Cons: Can't think of any

Great Product

I do not have experience with other platforms, however I do not feel like changing from Marketo and I strongly recommend it as a marketing automation platform. But be warned, it is a great service only if you learn to use it properly. But if you do , be ready for great benefits. Using it is getting more and more exciting as you learn new features and ways to simplify processes and generate faster and better results. Instead of pushing unqualified leads to sales, you can nurture them through Marketo. When the prospect is ready (based on their online behavior) you can engage sales. I love this tool.

Pros: Marketo is constantly improving as they add new features

Cons: Getting started with Marketo can be a little hard

Positive Experience

Before using Marketo we have been using another tool, that we thought works OK. We had no idea how wrong were we. Moving to Marketo was kind of a revelation and made us realize what marketing automation is really about. With Marketo you can create a marketing campaign and launch it in a day. It allows you to build dynamic emails and targeted landing pages with ease. I believe it is the best option for marketing automation.

Pros: Allows you to build dynamic emails and targeted landing pages
