Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) overview
What is Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
Cloud Identity is a unified identity, access, application, and device management platform that secures enterprise resources and streamlines IT operations in cloud infrastructure. The platform serves as the native directory and security foundation for the Google Cloud Unified Identity ecosystem. It provides centralized management of employee identities, endpoint devices, and application access across hybrid and cloud first deployments. It supports enterprises, government agencies, educational institutions, and organizations that require identity governance, phishing resistant authentication, and comprehensive device management.
The platform delivers extensive identity and access management through multiple deployment models. Organizations can implement native employee and device directories with built in user management that includes continuous session security monitoring, advanced endpoint verification, and mandatory console reauthentication for privileged operations. The system supports phishing resistant multi factor authentication via hardware backed Titan Security Keys and software based passkeys that eliminate credential theft. The Google Credential Provider for Windows extends FIDO compliant authentication to physical machine logins. Workforce Identity Federation enables integration with external identity providers such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID without account synchronization overhead. Workload Identity Federation provides keyless machine and CI CD pipeline access with short lived federated credentials using OIDC, SAML, and SPIFFE protocols.
Endpoint management gathers comprehensive inventory and security posture metadata across Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS device fleets. Endpoint Verification assesses encryption status, operating system versions, and screen lock compliance to enforce context aware access policies without requiring intrusive agents. The platform implements federated single sign on via SAML and OpenID Connect protocols for application access. Inbound SCIM provisioning automates user lifecycle management and security group synchronization from external directories. Secure LDAP functionality bridges legacy on premises applications to cloud authentication. Google Cloud Directory Sync automates user and group provisioning between on premises Active Directory and Cloud Identity accounts. The platform leverages Google threat intelligence for account takeover protection through anomaly detection and step up authentication challenges.
Cloud Identity integrates with hundreds of cloud applications through a pre integrated apps catalog and supports custom application integration via standard authentication protocols. RESTful APIs enable programmatic identity management, automated provisioning workflows, and integration development with external systems. Bidirectional synchronization with Microsoft Active Directory maintains hybrid identity architectures during migration initiatives. The unified admin console consolidates user management, device policy configuration, application access controls, and security monitoring into a single interface with audit logging, delegated administration, and Security Center integration for threat investigation. As a fully managed cloud service, the platform provides technical support in multiple languages and offers free and premium subscription tiers.
