Codens overview

What is Codens?

Codens is a cloud-based AI development suite that automates the full software development lifecycle across five integrated products: PRD generation (Green), development orchestration (Purple), code review and security audit (Orange), QA and E2E test automation (Blue), and production error auto-repair (Red). Each product operates standalone or as a unified suite under shared authentication and a common credit pool. MCP-compatible agents including Claude Code, Cursor, and Cline can access 30 tools through a single MCP server (codens-mcp). Targeted at software development teams of any size, from startups to enterprises, the suite is designed to reduce reliance on large specialist engineering headcount.

Green converts free-form business requests into structured PRDs with codebase context analysis, bi-directional Notion sync, approval workflows, version history, and org-level templates. Purple runs a deterministic step-based workflow engine that manages branch creation, implementation, PR creation, E2E testing, and deploy notification, with AI coding agents executing tasks unattended in isolated environments and live session streaming for real-time visibility. Orange automatically reviews GitHub PRs for bugs, race conditions, null references, resource leaks, design risks, dependency vulnerabilities via SCA/SBOM analysis, and credential leaks, with findings routed to Purple or Red for fix PR generation and an average fix loop cycle of approximately 8 minutes. Blue generates structured test cases from specs, PRDs, code, or natural language; auto-generates and executes Playwright E2E tests; analyzes failures using screenshots, logs, and console errors; and forwards detected bugs to Red for fix and re-verification, with bug tickets auto-created in Jira, GitHub Issues, and Linear. Red receives production errors via webhook from Sentry, GitHub Actions, CI, or custom monitoring tools; analyzes stack traces using a 6-step systematic debug method across up to 100 related files; generates minimal-diff fix code aligned with existing codebase conventions; retries up to 3 times on test failure; and creates a GitHub PR with error summary, fix rationale, and test results within under 3 minutes of error detection.

All AI-generated changes surface as GitHub PRs before merge; auto-merge is opt-in and requires CI and a verify chain to pass, preserving human review and decision-making at every stage. Credentials are managed via AWS Secrets Manager with per-task IAM roles and are never exposed to AI models. Every workflow step is logged in chronological order for a full audit trail. Destructive database operations are blocked at the workflow layer. An Enterprise plan provides unlimited credits, custom contracts, SLA, and dedicated onboarding support. A 14-day free trial with 30,000 credits is available with no credit card required.
