easo is a desktop quality management system for ISO 9001, built for small and mid-sized companies that want their compliance records under their own control.

Architecture: easo is a native desktop application for macOS 12 or later and Windows 10/11 (64-bit, installs without administrator rights). It is not a cloud service. Your documents live in your organisation's own Git repository — on your infrastructure, in open text formats — and never reach the vendor's servers. Only account and licence management runs at MANOVIS, hosted in Switzerland.

Security and evidence: every release is cryptographically signed and can be verified independently of easo, years later. The revision history is tamper-evident, so a change made after a release is detectable. PDF/A exports carry a verification annex an auditor can check on their own. Review and release are separated along the four-eyes principle, and roles, permissions and clean offboarding are built in. The macOS build is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple; the Windows installer is Authenticode-signed and timestamped. The application keeps itself up to date over a signed channel, directly from us, with no app store involved.

Functions: document control with versioning, review and release workflow, internal audit programme, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), management review, a readiness view against the standard with a gap list, full-text search, import of existing documents (.docx, .html, .md, .txt) either unchanged or as editable drafts, and a built-in 30-chapter ISO 9001 knowledge book. Five interface languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish. No Git knowledge is required at any point.

Pricing: Solo is free permanently — the whole engine, locally, for one person. There is no separate trial, because the free version is the trial. Team is one flat price per company with every user included.

easo supports preparation for certification; an accredited body issues the certificate.

Corrective actions follow ISO 9001 clause 10.2: raised from a released audit finding or on their own, releasable at every stage, feeding the management review, and easo refuses to close a case until its effectiveness has been verified (10.2 d). Most tools let you close a corrective action by clicking "closed".

Nothing is ever deleted: released versions are immutable, superseded documents stay in the register, and every old version verifies from its own signed record. Retention without limit, revision-safe in the GoBD sense. There is no purge function, by design.
