KANAP overview
What is KANAP?
KANAP is an open source IT governance platform, built by a practicing CIO for IT departments of mid-sized companies and multi-entity groups. It replaces spreadsheets, wikis and generic tools with one governed record where everything links together.
IT budget: multi-year OPEX and CAPEX, expected landing, next-year budget preparation, version freeze, analytics dimensions, chargeback to entities, multi-currency, contracts.
Landscape: applications, interfaces, infrastructure, interactive architecture maps.
Portfolio: requests, scoring, roadmap, capacity, projects and tasks.
Documentation: libraries, reviews, versions, links to applications and projects.
Plaid, the built-in AI agent, answers questions on the record and prepares changes applied only after approval. A helpdesk agent proposes replies to GLPI tickets, under approval.
Open source under AGPL v3, no feature paywall. Self-host free with Docker, or let KANAP host it.
