Mira overview

What is Mira?

Mira is an AI knowledge platform for industrial teams. It captures what experienced people know by recording them at work, then turns those recordings into a structured, searchable, multilingual library that anyone can query in plain language.

Where it gets used

On the assembly line, where a fitter records a changeover once and every shift follows the same sequence. In maintenance, where a fault-clearing routine is filmed inside the cabinet and the next technician watches instead of calling. In field service, where an engineer on a customer site pulls up the procedure for a machine they have not touched in a year. At an OEM, where customers get self-service guides for the equipment they bought, cutting the support queue. And at a desk, where a screen recording of an internal tool becomes a documented workflow.

Why now

Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute project that the US skills gap could leave 2.1 million manufacturing jobs unfilled by 2030. The knowledge going out of the door is not written down anywhere, and the people arriving to replace it often do not share a first language with the people leaving.

Four steps

Record. An expert films the job while doing it, on a phone, a tablet, an action camera or smart glasses. Screen recording covers desk work. No script, no crew, no editing. Existing files can be uploaded instead.

Process. Transcription runs against a glossary you define, so machine names come out correctly. The recording is chaptered with timestamps, summarised with safety warnings, tagged, and turned into an FAQ. A knowledge graph links machines, components, symptoms and procedures.

Translate. Subtitles, transcripts, chapters, summaries, FAQs and tags are produced in 14 or more languages. The audio is redubbed, so a German recording plays back in a fluent Polish or Romanian voice with matching subtitles.

Ask. An assistant grounded only in your library answers questions and cites the exact second of video the answer came from. Scope it to one collection or the whole library. Voice input handles gloves-on work. It runs in the app, on public pages, in embeds and on WhatsApp.

What sets Mira apart

Most tools translate the text and leave the audio alone. Mira redubs the voice track, which matters when the person watching has both hands on a machine.

Most tools report on what has been documented. Mira's coverage heatmap and blind-spot detection show what has not, listing unresolved symptoms and components nobody has explained yet.

Most tools charge per seat, which quietly limits who gets access. Mira charges on storage volume and support level, so the whole workforce can have it.

Documents and distribution

Any recording exports as an illustrated slide deck, a Word file, a print-ready PDF or clean Markdown, with stills from the video and your branding. Distribute through QR codes on machines, embeds in a partner portal or LMS, login-free public pages, or scoped accounts for customers and contractors.

Integrations

A REST API with scoped tokens connects Mira to existing systems. Finished assets and generated documents flow into an LMS. Workers can query the assistant from WhatsApp without opening another app. The knowledge base can also be exposed to other AI tools and agents through the Model Context Protocol.

Security and Data

Built by a team in Berlin and operated in the EU, with data residency covering personal data and AI inference. Encryption in transit and at rest, SSO, MFA, role-based access policies and a full audit trail. Your content is never shared with third parties and never used to train models. GDPR compliant, exportable at any time.
