Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

PINS overview
What is PINS?
PINS is a certificate of insurance tracking platform that automates the collection, review, and renewal of insurance certificates from vendors, subcontractors, tenants, and other third parties while maintaining in-house control over compliance decisions. The platform is designed for organizations that manage high-volume vendor relationships and complex insurance requirements. Typical users include general contractors overseeing subcontractor-heavy projects, public agencies such as cities, counties, joint powers authorities, special districts, housing authorities, and transit agencies, property managers of multi-site facilities, insurance agencies that offer tracking as a client service, and airports that manage vendors, tenants, concessionaires, and transportation providers.
The system operates by processing a contract upload in which artificial intelligence reads the contract and automatically builds insurance requirements. The platform sends automated email requests to vendors and brokers through a simple upload link that requires no login credentials. The AI-powered review engine examines each submission against the established requirements and identifies gaps, missing endorsements, incorrect coverage limits, or other compliance issues while providing evidence and reasoning for each flagged item. The internal compliance team retains full control over approval decisions, exceptions, and waivers with all actions logged and tied to vendor records to support audit trails. The system can achieve high compliance rates within the first sixty days of deployment and reduce the time required for manual tracking and document review.
The platform includes optical character recognition to extract data from uploaded certificates and a real-time compliance dashboard that delivers visibility across projects and organizational units. The AI assistant module focuses on endorsement review by verifying that additional insured endorsements, waiver of subrogation clauses, primary and non-contributory language, and other contractual insurance requirements are properly documented on submitted certificates.
PINS integrates natively with construction management systems Procore and Viewpoint Vista and provides an open application programming interface for custom integrations with other business systems. The Procore integration allows commitments to flow into the platform, writes compliance status back to project records, and provides project managers with direct links to compliance information. The Vista integration supports accounts payable vendor and subcontractor workflows with compliance status updates tied to vendor records. Implementation is typically completed within one week and involves initial setup by the implementation team to build requirements and workflows based on client contracts and internal processes. All configurations are subject to client review and approval prior to vendor outreach.
