PlanIt EPOS is cloud business management software for independent trade merchants — electrical wholesalers, plumbing and heating merchants, builders merchants, timber and tool suppliers and general trade counters, single or multi-branch.

Sale / Till: search by name, SKU or supplier, or scan any barcode. Retail and trade pricing from margins set per supplier or product, customer discounts, quick-sale lines, hold and recall, refunds against the original receipt. Cash, card, bank transfer, deposit or on account, or split across several. A four-digit PIN identifies who rang each sale. Cash up and Z report per till.

Customer orders & diary: orders taken at the till with a deposit reserve stock instantly and drop into a colour-coded diary with deliveries, collections and van runs. A pay-before-delivery gate holds goods until they are settled or on account.

Customers & accounts: trade credit with limits enforced at the till, statements, automatic overdue chasing, follow-ups and full history against every customer.

Stock: live quantities per location and bin, transfers, stock takes with a variance report, minimum levels and reorder suggestions. AI reads photographed delivery notes and books stock in.

Buying & suppliers: purchase orders and part deliveries, margins per supplier, and AI price-sheet import from PDF, Excel or CSV with a review step before any cost moves.

Reports & accounting: dashboard of takings, margin, cash and debtors for any period or branch; VAT summary; Xero export.

Integrations and hardware: Stripe, Xero, WhatsApp and email; any keyboard-wedge barcode scanner, thermal receipt and label printers; sits alongside your existing card terminal. Runs in any browser on a Windows PC, Mac, iPad or Android tablet, installs as an app, works offline and syncs on reconnect. UK hosting with continuous backup, owner and staff roles.
