Measuring and estimating

Capture a job however suits: type the dimensions, import a plan, speak the measurements aloud on site, or photograph a hand-drawn sketch and let AI room mapping convert it into a layout. Stairs, landings, winders and bullnose steps are handled properly rather than approximated.

Roll optimisation and cutting plans

PlanIt nests the pieces across 4m and 5m roll widths, respecting pile direction and pattern repeat, and produces the cutting plan the fitter works from. Because waste is derived from the real layout instead of a flat percentage, the quantity ordered reflects what the job actually consumes — on a whole-house job, the difference between 18% waste and 8% is often the difference between winning the work and losing it.

Quoting and getting paid

Quotes are itemised PDFs carrying your own branding on paid plans. Customers accept online and can pay a card deposit against jobs booked weeks ahead. Margin is visible as the price is built, so discounting is a decision rather than an accident.

A CRM tracks the pipeline, diary, fitters, subcontract fitting and tasks, with notifications and reporting across the business.

Running the shop

The flooring EPOS adds a till built for how flooring sells — cut lengths, part rolls and remnants, supply-only and supply-and-fit — with stock down to the individual roll and batch, suppliers, purchase orders, customer orders and trade credit accounts. AI price-sheet import keeps thousands of catalogue lines current without retyping. Estimator and till share one catalogue, so a quote becomes a sale without rekeying.

Practicalities

Runs in any browser, installs to phones and tablets without an app store, and keeps working offline, syncing when the connection returns. Built in the UK: UK roll widths, UK suppliers and UK VAT.

Pricing

A permanent free plan covers one user with the full optimiser, cutting plans and ten quotes a month, with quotes carrying the PlanIt badge. Paid plans start at £19 per user per month and add unlimited quoting and your own branding; £35 adds CRM, scheduling and the profit engine; £99 per site adds the EPOS, stock and trade accounts. Three-month minimum term, then monthly rolling.
