Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ProofSign overview
What is ProofSign?
ProofSign is a cloud-based PDF sealing, signing, and verification platform that applies cryptographic audit trails to finalized documents. Uploaded files are SHA-256 fingerprinted and scanned for malware before entering single- or multi-party signing workflows with role-aware sequencing. Once approved, each document is sealed with an immutable manifest embedded directly in the PDF. Any post-seal alteration invalidates the fingerprint and is detected instantly. Third parties and regulators can confirm document authenticity at a public verification endpoint without creating a vendor account, and API access supports programmatic verification at scale. The platform is hosted on AWS eu-west-2 with server-side encryption, scoped IAM roles, and TLS 1.2+ in transit, and is accessible via a web-based interface or API.
ProofSign targets individuals and businesses of any size that require a lightweight, secure method for sealing and signing finalized documents without a full document-collaboration suite. Enterprise accounts support configurable retention windows beyond the seven-year default, and chunked uploads accommodate large files on paid plans. Signer authentication is handled via OTP or magic link, and every workflow captures a full audit-ready event trail including timestamps, role context, signer hashes, and device metadata. Optional blockchain anchoring provides decentralized proof for use cases requiring an additional layer of independently verifiable evidence.
Applicable across audits, disputes, compliance reviews, and regulatory verification, ProofSign concentrates exclusively on the finalization and verification stage of the document lifecycle. Cryptographic evidence and immutable manifests are built into every workflow by default. A public, open verification endpoint eliminates vendor lock-in, allowing any party to confirm document integrity without proprietary tooling or a platform subscription.
