Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Safeguard overview
What is Safeguard?
Safeguard is an enterprise software supply chain security platform offering autonomous vulnerability remediation and zero CVE component deployment for organizations managing complex software ecosystems. It serves regulated enterprises in financial services, healthcare, defense contracting, and SaaS sectors, focusing on those requiring FedRAMP HIGH, IL seven, and SOC two Type two compliance. Safeguard addresses vulnerabilities across deep dependency trees by combining reachability analysis, autonomous fixing, and continuous compliance evidence generation within a unified control plane that spans dependencies, containers, and hundreds of compliance frameworks.
The platform is powered by Griffin AI, a proprietary remediation engine that performs call-graph reachability analysis to identify exploitable vulnerabilities instead of reporting every detected CVE. Griffin AI traces vulnerabilities through transitive dependencies, determines which are reachable in production code, and autonomously authors compatible patches. These patches are run through existing CI/CD pipelines, validated against regression test suites in sandboxed branches, and merged under policy-gated controls without manual triage. The platform incorporates Eagle, an adversarial model that performs disproof passes on findings before surfacing them, and has discovered more than fifty zero-day vulnerabilities in production. A registry of more than five hundred thousand zero CVE hardened components, including container images and packages, is maintained and signed with SLSA provenance attestation. Its SBOM lifecycle management system generates and maintains a Software Bill of Materials in CycloneDX and SPDX formats, with automated version control and nested SBOM support. Container security capabilities include multi-layer analysis that scans each container layer independently, supporting Docker Hub, AWS, Azure, Google Container Registry, JFrog Artifactory, and OCI-compliant private registries. The platform performs deep transitive dependency analysis across entire dependency trees, tracking taint edges and cross-package relationships. Compliance automation spans hundreds of frameworks, including SOC two, ISO twenty-seven thousand one, NIST SSDF, NIST eight hundred thousand one hundred seventy-one, CMMC, DFARS, Executive Order one four zero two eight, PCI-DSS version four point zero, NYDFS Part five hundred, GDPR, HIPAA, and FFIEC. Evidence generation occurs automatically as fixes are merged, with control mapping and audit-grade summaries written directly to compliance frameworks. The platform includes a public Trust Center that publishes live security posture on customer-owned domains, displaying real-time control status, SBOM freshness, and verified subprocessor lists. Third-party risk management functionality provides vendor security validation through SBOM verification rather than survey-based assessments. Deployment options include cloud, on-premises, and fully air-gapped environments, with architecture designed to meet IL seven requirements and security-tuned models operating without external API dependencies.
Safeguard integrates natively with fifteen cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud, and supports source control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. CI/CD pipeline integration includes Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI workflows. The platform exposes a Model Context Protocol server with more than twenty-five tenant-scoped tools enabling AI agents such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor to query vulnerabilities, scan repositories, generate remediation plans, apply fixes, merge pull requests, and check compliance gates programmatically. Integrated development environment extensions are available for Visual Studio Code, JetBrains products, and Cursor, providing in-IDE reachability verdicts in approximately twelve milliseconds. Command-line interface tools, Slack notifications, and browser extensions for Chrome and Microsoft three sixty-five are also included. All integrations operate through a unified API that enforces the same policy and audit controls as the web portal, ensuring agent-initiated actions are governed identically to human-initiated operations.
