Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

The Site Book overview
What is The Site Book?
The Site Book is a software platform that addresses the requirements of CDM two thousand fifteen compliance for UK construction contractors. It generates and manages site safety documentation including risk assessments and method statements, construction phase plans, COSHH assessments, site inductions, method statements, and toolbox talks. The solution caters to small and medium sized firms engaged in domestic housing, industrial projects, council contracts, and principal contractor roles across a range of trades such as electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, groundworkers, scaffolders, gas engineers, and kitchen fitters. Each document is created with project specific details rather than generic placeholders to meet HSE guidance standards.
A three step workflow guides the preparation process by first capturing site details, project scope, and involved trades through text or voice input. The system then generates tailored documentation that reflects actual job hazards and project scope with AI powered quality checks that flag vague wording and highlight potential risks before finalization. All six document types follow the CDM two thousand fifteen regulatory framework and HSE guidance standards. Digital sign off allows workers to complete inductions and approve documents via mobile devices. Documents are organized at the project level and can be downloaded as branded PDF outputs, shared through secure links, or assembled into audit packs with full revision history and traceable audit trails.
A collaborative tier extends access with multiple internal logins, active site portal users, site attendance tracking, site file management, document review evidence, subcontractor evidence records, and inspection and action tracking. Integration with common business tools including Google Drive for document storage, Xero for accounting workflows, and Zapier for application connectivity streamlines existing processes. The platform is hosted in the UK with encryption in transit and at rest to maintain GDPR compliance and holds registration with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. An enterprise level per site solution offers QR code based entry, CSCS card verification, induction gating, live monitoring of personnel on site, worker credential tracking, and audit grade data exports suitable for principal contractors managing multiple live projects.
