The Forwarding Order Management component serves as the central record for capturing parties, cargo details, dates, stage definitions, commercial terms, and customer documentation in one order. In the Freight Order Execution stage each transport job is divided into individual legs with carrier assignments, pay-to vendor designations, route planning, timing parameters, vehicle and driver allocations as required. The Settlement and Charge Allocation stage links purchase invoice lines to transport charges in order to reconcile supplier costs and distribute actual expenses across jobs.
