Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Veritask overview
What is Veritask?
Veritask is a cross-platform task management platform designed to provide verifiable proof of task execution across distributed teams and field service operations. The platform extends beyond traditional to do list applications by requiring assignees to submit evidence of completed work before tasks can be closed. The software serves businesses in field service industries such as heating ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical work, pest control, cleaning services, construction, property management and facilities maintenance. It supports organizations requiring accountability in task execution across retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare and creative agencies.
Tasks within Veritask include comprehensive details such as title, description, physical address with automatic global positioning coordinate mapping, scheduling information, assignee designation, pricing data, color coded labels, nested checklists and time tracking fields. Tasks are organized in separate workspaces representing clients, projects or business units with support for up to five hundred team accounts without per user licensing fees. The system implements a three tiered access control structure in which basic users can view assigned tasks, add comments, attach files and report completion, contributors can create and assign tasks and administrators have unrestricted access to all workspace functions. Contact information embedded in task descriptions automatically converts phone numbers, email addresses, usernames and uniform resource locators into interactive links for native communication applications.
The platform requires results verification for task completion by allowing task creators to configure checklist items that demand specific evidence, including live camera photographs, gallery images or file attachments. All task modifications are recorded with timestamps while global positioning data captures the location of assignees when they update tasks. Additional functionality comprises an open task marketplace that permits team members to claim unassigned tasks on a first come basis, recurring scheduling at daily, weekly, monthly or yearly intervals and customizable reminders per user. Users can access tasks in list, map and calendar views and utilize automatic one tap navigation integration, full text search functionality and the ability to archive and export tasks to comma separated values files.
Veritask operates as native applications on iOS and Android devices and as browser based software on Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems with real time synchronization across all platforms and offline access that syncs upon reconnection. The product is available in thirty nine languages and functions as a standalone system that interfaces with device native navigation and communication platforms through automatic link generation. Workspace administrators can distribute tasks to team members who are not required to maintain active Veritask accounts. Comprehensive activity logging captures all operations.
