Virto Multiple Operations adds two buttons to SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365: Bulk Upload in document libraries and Bulk Delete in libraries and lists. Instead of handling files one by one, people upload or remove hundreds of them in a few steps, which helps with migrations to the cloud, library cleanups and routine maintenance.

Bulk Upload accepts many files and folders at once, by drag and drop or by browsing, and keeps the folder structure. Before the upload starts it shows the total number of files and their size; during the upload it tracks progress and can be stopped. Existing files can be overwritten.

Bulk Delete removes the selected items, the items that match filter conditions, or the whole list or library. Conditions are built on the library's columns, such as Title, Created, Created By, Modified and Modified By, with operators such as contains, begins with, is equal to or is less than, and they combine with AND and OR. Deleted items can go to the Recycle Bin or be removed permanently, and folders can be kept. The Bulk Delete button is shown only to users who have permission to delete.

Administrators set upload rules for a site or a single library: whether existing files are overwritten, whether invalid characters in file names are replaced, whether files without filled-in required fields may be uploaded, whether folders may be uploaded, the maximum file and upload size, and the allowed file types.

The app is a SharePoint Framework extension that an administrator installs once from Microsoft Marketplace. The interface is in English. The Business plan costs $249 per site collection per year, with one year of support and free minor updates; Enterprise is priced on request, and a 30-day free trial is available.
