Pros

I love how clean and simple it looks and I especially love how you can view your Box folders through a finder window on your computer's desktop.
Outstanding support team that can assist with customizing Box to fit your needs. Box saves time and allows for great communication channels between team members, trade partners, and customers.
I LOVE that I can search for a file just by typing in the name, regardless if I know where exactly I filed it. I love the ease of opening a file to make changes and saving it again.

Pros

Quick synching and the ability to organise folders and sub-folders is great. Overall, a decent program and certainly useful for small businesses such as myself.
I like the ease of uploading documents and videos, good for storage of some items, usually anything important I move quickly, it has been useful for both work and personal needs.
I love that OneDrive is easy to use, and also makes it easy to store and share files. I also like the access control abilities to control who can access/use links and with which permissions/abilities.

Cons

Sadly it does not work on my kindle Ir the android tablet I had. With everything going mobile these days, you would think they'd be compatible by now.
This product has very limited functionality in some areas which could be a bit frustrating at times.
The organization of Box is awful, but this could be my company's fault.

Cons

OneDrive has changed in 2021 and this change has brought about headache for all. No syncing because the OneDrive is locked and awaiting action by users who has no idea as to what is wrong.
The most problem I have as a user is the sync problem, sometimes it gets stuck and you have to restart your computer.
Where do I begin, it constant instability, it is very hard to use use, sharing process and access permission are coming from hell and the version control is simply sadistic.

until the time I have been using it was perfect, I would recommend users to use Box over similar applications if the cost is not an issue for them.

Pros

I like the reliability that Box has over OneDrive or DropBox, but unfortunately, my employee shifted from Box to OneDrive.

Cons

The Con of Box is that the user fee is so expensive for the business version of the application. I wish it was less.

Box is better than Microsoft OneDrive

My company used Box for 1-3 years before switching over to Microsoft OneDrive. Unfornately, OneDrive is much less user friendly than Box and I wish we could go back.

Pros

The program was super easy to use. Installing Box Sync on the PC, you could easily sync files locally and remotely between Box and your local PC. It was also super easy to share files with customer externally.

Cons

Trying to automate Box Sync in a scripting language was kind of confusing. Their API supported scripting, however, rather than having a normal folder structure, each folder had a unique ID which made it more difficult to go through a nested list of folders to scan for files.

Box is one of the premium file storage services

I shared course content with other students using Box, we also collaborated on files together (project or homeworks stored on Box)

Pros

Never lost a file that I had stored on Box, the downloadable windows application is good for storing files and automatically synchronizing them too

Cons

I prefer other services such as Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive because the websites for these programs are better, the downloadable windows app isn't great either. Finally, unlike OneDrive people cannot work on Office simultaneously

I prefer using Box over Onedrive. It is easier to use and can be used for collaborative projects.

Pros

With the desktop app, it is easy to work on a document using multiple systems. We use it as a lab depository of documents and data.

Cons

The app stores cache files that can take up lot of space if not cleared out regularly. Also, there can be some issues syncing sometimes.

Pros

It is easy to use, syncs great and always there. Good apps for phones and tablets. Easy to shar files.

Cons

Price. Not that it was bad but Office 365 having Onedrive included made sense for us to go this route.

Cons

I can do most the same things for free with Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive. There is no "free" plan.

Before my company had OneDrive for file sharing, we used Box. It was easy to use as the creator and as the recipient.

Cons

Box automatically logged on when my computer restarted. I do not like additional software running in the background. Also, I believe there was a storage limit in my company's account that I was close to going over.

One of the best cloud storage providers on the market, and typically less costly than Dropbox.

Pros

Box is one of the simplest cloud storage solutions on the market. It is easier to use than OneDrive and not as resource intensive as Dropbox.

Cons

It doesn't have as many features as Dropbox (file collaboration, for example) which can result in businesses looking for cloud storage to end up with Dropbox instead of Box

I love the simple web interface of Box!

Pros

Box is by and large the easiest interface to navigate online. I can upload and download files easily, and sharing access with both co-workers and clients is a breeze. I can also grant admin/edit privileges to whomever I want on a file by file basis.

Cons

If I had to come up with a negative aspect of Box, it would be that the desktop interface doesn't integrate as nicely as OneDrive or Dropbox.

We play a fun game called "Wait, you can't even SEE that folder!?" After years of using OneDrive and other collaboration platforms Box just does not measure up.

Pros

The web app allows previews of documents.

Cons

No way to collaborate multiple users on a single spreadsheet.
