Pros

So if I do not have my laptop on me because I am out of the office I can use my cellphone. My team also likes that we can share our notes with each other for progress updates and team notes.

It's also great that I can access it across many devices after just signing in just incase I needed my notes while I was elsewhere. This tool is great for also taking notes during meetings, etc.

Pros

The best bang for the buck easy to use and easier to set up user friendliness at its absolute finest.

Raymond M.

I like that the product constantly evolves and improves. I love having the integration to my Microsoft One Drive so that I can auto-save there as well as make quick updates.

I like that I can easily create, save and share documents using this app. Its also available for Android which is a great benefit.

Cons

One of the most frustrating aspects of this program was the loss of information. Annual program updates would lose data from the prior version to the updated version.

RB

Ruth B.

The level of familiarity with the app by my team had some people ineffective at using it in the beginning.

I'm confused why it's not possible to integrate it with Outlook.

I hate that I can’t input texts or photoshop picturess and I hate how it’s only for Windows not apple.

OneNote makes it easy to collaborate across offices

Pros

- Real-time editing of OneNote files allows us to simultaneously edit the same notebook, even when spread out across offices - Included with Office 365 subscription

Great for organization and businesses

Reviewed 3 years ago

Its a great program that can be really useful once you get the hang of it.

Pros

Keeps information organized and put together. Easy to share with other users. Great for quick note taking, to later sort out with details.

Cons

It is basically a simplified version of Microsoft Word Documents. Does have limitations in sharing options.

Wonderful features, cohesive notebook

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

I really enjoy how you can make "chapters" of your notes and that the notes will sync whether you're using the desktop version or online. I feel like I can be on the go with my notes without being constrained with saving them locally. Not to mention you can find notes easily without having scattered Google Docs!

Cons

Certain features that are usually found in Microsoft Word (i.e. super/subscript shortcuts) are not available in OneNote.

Little difference between MS one note and MS word

Reviewed 3 years ago

It's a good app it just needs more features and functionality.

Pros

▪The squre Bullets with the nick inside bring a new feature to one note . ▪Recording a audio track direct to the file is another added advantage .

Cons

▪It's almost the same as Microsoft word. ▪Please add more ink colours and ink thickness on mobile versions.

Great Notepad for File Sharing

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

I like the layout of this program. You can view all your different notes on the left hand side. There is easy access to the notes you are currently working on without having to search through your computer’s hard drive.

Cons

I’m not real sure how different this program is from Microsoft Word. There is no save button which is a little disconcerting. However, it does seem to auto save.

Great note taking application with good organization

Reviewed 5 months ago

I have enjoyed using OneNote. It has been easy to organize my lecture notes for each class and then to reference them when I need to with ease.

Pros

I have used this software for taking notes for an online college course. It is great for organizing notes for different courses and creating pages for each lecture. The software is very intuitive and easy to organize and customize. It is also great that it syncs with my other devices so I have my notes when and where I need them.

Cons

I do think that visually the app could be improved. It is very similar to Microsoft Word in layout and I think it would be beneficial to simplify the layout since it is primarily aimed at note taking and not document creation.

OneNote Review

Reviewed 5 months ago

My experience on this program is that it is really very helpful for people who are not just only dependent on the Microsoft Word, Excel. and Power Point as the main basis of the presentation given to colleagues, teacher or either on the working environment. It is a highly good program to connect user's idea in different aspects.

Pros

It is a professional tool for users who want to present their ideas through presentations in a well presented one which the recipient can understand immediately based on the understandable interface. Presentations can be presented in notes, drawings, screen clippings, and audio commentaries could be for client basis.

Cons

It is time consuming sometimes when you really want to have a good presentation because you will need to make lots of edits and modifications. And this could lead to a presentation which is not good or chaotic and can be hard to understand for the recipient of what ideas being implied.

Awesome for work notes! Not great for personal notes or probably mac users

Reviewed 4 years ago

Would recommend for business purposes!

Pros

Best features are its integrations with outlook to upload tasks, send e-mail, and email out notes/takeaways from meetings. Also like the separation you can have between notebooks and the search function is also very user friendly.

Cons

I actually dislike that you can start writing anywhere in the page, That's a great feature for more creative software like Publisher, but I don't think it belongs in one-note. I do with it synced more with Microsoft word and other microsoft tools other than outlook.

Using Microsoft OneNote to Track Projects

Reviewed 3 months ago

Very good

Pros

The things I like most about Microsoft OneNote are: the editing functions available similar to those of Microsoft Word; the ability to use different figures to identify the piece of text that is saved; the ability to include checkboxes and ticks for individual tasks; and the integration with My Tasks within the Microsoft Outlook application.

Cons

The things that I like the least about Microsoft OneNote are: not being able to organize individual sections into a Kanban board; and the lack of ease-of-use to share indivual sections with other people.

Microsoft OneNote

Not my first choice

Reviewed 3 months ago

I need to concede, that at the outset I had numerous issues getting myself set up with one note, however from that point forward, it has been an outright lifeline. The entirety of my archives are in one region, I can get to them from each PC I own and Id need to say I use it regular, I in a real sense couldn't abandon utilizing this program.

Pros

Microsoft OneNote is loaded with numerous highlights that go past taking notes; it likewise gives you a few different ways to change pictures over to message. For instance, the OCR instrument permits you to snap a photo of an archive, business card, flyer or whiteboard, then, at that point extricate that content. You would then be able to save that content in OneNote, Microsoft Word or Standpoint....

Cons

Matching up can take some time , Unacceptable portable application, Average web cutting augmentation
