I wish I were a graphic designer. I see things in my head, but they never come out as I see them when I have to design them. Working for a small nonprofit, I am the brand champion, and we do not have a designer on staff. Additionally, I am good with Excel, but I still haven't mastered pivot charts, and have no intention of doing so any time soon. 
Piktochart helps me visualize the data we collect and present it - something we have never done previously. When combined with visual storytelling, I am able to create an amazing piece that looks fairly well designed - that I am proud to present to donors, families, and partners.

We got Piktochart for the purpose of creating infographics to share key data with our employees. We've been using it for almost 2 years, and have created some great infographics and some amazing posters for courses and leadership programs, as well as company events like food drives.

Often times when I need to create user guides, attractive marketing, infographics, and other collateral, I don't have the time (or know-how) to make highly professional visual designs on some very tight deadlines. As an Instructional Designer, I very appreciate the many styles, sizes, and types of designs available on Piktochart- ranging from flyers to reports and infographics to social media templates. All of the available materials are very professional, and the interface of the program has the right amount of tools that allow for customization, while not offering infinite options which could quickly become creatively overwhelming,

As a student, Piktochart is a versatile software because it exhibits flexibility and practicality. The fact that there are templates that are ready to be used and edited saves a whole lot of time and brainstorming as this can also be a guide towards creativity.

Amazing for people who want a step-up from Canva

I am in learning and development and know the value of reducing my learners' cognitive load. I believe that a well-designed infographic can have much more impact on learning transfer than a data-dump slide deck. The marriage of graphics and content makes for strong mental models which leads to learning transfer.

It is a time saver, like having a professional designer on staff.  Can't say enough about how great it has been for our small agency.  We can't afford to pay someone else to do this, and Piktochart is worlds better than trying to cobble together something on MS Word.

                                                       Before Piktochart, we were using Microsoft Word and Publisher for a lot of our advertising and marketing. Especially in higher education and for campuses, you want students to know what's going on. Unfortunately, we just had issues with printing, we had issues with alignment, we had issues using clip art. So Piktochart was really something that we looked for to make better posters, better marketing, and better branding all the way around.
                                                       Piktochart has a number of templates we can use for things like posters, banners, Instagram posts, social media. It's really great to interact with our students through great advertising, and Piktochart really provided that for us.
                                                       When thinking about using Piktochart in our student affairs department, it was something that had a low learning curve. It was very user-friendly, it was something where you pick the template, pick the font you want to use, throw a picture in there and go. The printing was always great, nothing was out of the shot, so it was something that we could use easily, but our students could use easily as well. So it was great for everyone in our department and our students.
                                                       You're thinking about getting Piktochart, it's very easy to sign up. It's something that you can present easily to a group of people and they can catch on right away. Share links, post things to your social media, it's just something that is easy for everyone to use, and it just provides a better quality than what we are using in the past.                                                        I ended up using Piktochart because I was doing a lot of tedious tasks with platforms that weren't really meant for photo editing and flyer creating. Just it was really hard to use. And so I was looking for better platforms that would service all of my needs when it came to editing and creating.
                                                       I chose Piktochart because it really seemed like a one-stop shop. So whether I needed to edit photos or create flyers or start something from scratch or edit something we already had, it really just encompassed all of my needs in one section.
                                                       Getting started with Piktochart was really easy. Basically it was just creating an account. There is some learning when it comes to what you could easily access, what you need to pay for, what you need a different level of membership for, and just kind of fiddling around with the program. But overall, it was really easy to get set up with Piktochart.
                                                       My recommendation for someone looking at Piktochart is to also look at the other platforms that are out there. I initially started with Piktochart and it was great as a beginner, but when I started creating more complex or in-depth creations with Piktochart, I actually ended up moving to a different platform. So while Piktochart is really easy to use, if you are more involved in the actual creation process, I just might recommend looking at all of the other platforms that do similar jobs to Piktochart.
