What is Cerberus FTP Server?
Cerberus FTP Server is a secure on-premise file transfer solution designed to provide auditing, collaboration and automation tools for secure file transfer. The system is HIPAA compliant and FIPS 140-2 validated, and offers SSL encryption, IP auto-banning, two-factor authentication (2FA), and more.
With Cerberus FTP Server, users can securely transfer files through all major file-transfer protocols, with support for simultaneous HTTP/S, SFTP, and FTP/S protocols operating on a single IP address. The system also supports Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) and ad hoc/person-to-person file transfer for sharing unique expiring public links to specific folders or files. Security features include 2FA through HOTP and DUO Security, client certificate verification, SSH2 public key authentication, IP blacklisting/whitelisting, protocol-based login restrictions, temporary user accounts, automatic account lockout, per-user secure connection requirements, and more.
Cerberus FTP Server provides users with audit trails for all file access and commands, transparent reporting of client activity, file integrity checks, and rolling log files. The event manager lets users configure email notifications, perform batch actions or file operations, and set up automations based on server events. Cerberus FTP Server can also be integrated with Active Directory or LDAP for account management.
