What is Auth0?
Auth0 by Okta takes a modern approach to Identity and enables organizations to provide secure access to any application, for any user. With features including universal login, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), account linking, and log retention and streaming, Auth0 makes identity work for everyone. Developers can create universal or custom embedded login flows to authenticate employees via a central domain or within the domain of the page. Using Auth0's dashboard, administrators can add or delete users, handle password resets, view event logs, and provision/deprovision accounts. Businesses can process passwordless logins by validating users through one-time passwords (OTPs), push notifications, and biometric sensors.
Auth0 integrates with various third-party applications such as Salesforce, Box, Slack, Sentry, Zoom, Dropbox, Egnyte, Zendesk, CloudBees, and more. It implements passwordless logins through an embeddable widget, which automatically authenticates users by sending a one-time password (OTP) via email or SMS, or through push notifications and biometric sensors. Businesses can also connect applications across devices, add or remove users, set up access rules, and create custom login pages.
