Pros

The VPN feature is amazing i use it with usb redirector and it works great i can control the computer and the usb eith the vpn and usb director yogether i love that feature.
It helps on easy to use interface with a powerful remote features. Its fast and easy to navigate through the interface with a quick support to desktop, which is amazing.
The easy to use application is so simple to learn and navigate. The ability to tackle projects even when your not physically at the office is fantastic.

Pros

The AnyDesk software solution for the remote desktop control is one of the best. It offers multiple options and tools integrated into a nice, very easy to use interface.
So I have to connect with my colleagues, so I always use AnyDesk to connect with the computers of my colleagues. I really like the outstanding performance of this software.
The thing that I liked the most is that it is reliable and easy to use software for accessing the desktop/laptop remotely. It is very easy to install.

Cons

Occasionally there are errors, we get bumped from a server, or we have to restart a machine locally to re-connect -- but those issues are few & fear between. This is an issue maybe ~2% of the time.
I tried to cancel last year just be told it was done incorrectly (wasn’t processed by them) not that they admitted this. I was forced to pay a credit agency with the threat of penalties.
Sometimes it gets a little unstable, but I think the problem is more on the internet than on the program itself.

Cons

If poor internet connection, the keyboard stroke is not detected properly. It is very difficult to type something in remote desktop when we have poor internet connection.
I did not like that hackers can come in and destroy programs and make malware in the computer that is horrible to have done.
It is no longer necessary to leave the office or home to address the PC problems of other network users.

I switched from ANYDESK to teamviewer for its features.

Pros

Easy to understand the software and connect. Free trials are best parts which can be used. Sitting at long distance we can manage other work via team viewer .

Cons

I have never faced this problem. But i feel the feature that if any one somehow comes to know your teamviewer user id and password can actually get connected to a remote laptop .

I would rather use other options such as AnyDesk.

Pros

Ease of use. Most of my employees were able to confidently run the program. I didn't have to walk them through the set up process.

Cons

Slow speeds when connecting to the other persons computer. I had trouble viewing their screen in real time. I would generally be a click or 2 behind.

If you have the money...

Reviewed 2 years ago

Constant nagging and eventual time restrictions have made me move to other solutions such as Anydesk.

Pros

From a Remote Desktop Support-Role perspective, this software is matured and it is very easy to guide users over the telephone to download the client to enable remote support.

Cons

There are other software out there that is integrates into MSP product lines. The main benefit of TV is to get to a point to remote into a desktop, transfer the MSP agent software and install it. But do this enought times and TV starts prompting and nagging for a license.

TeamViewer is not good for your money.

Reviewed 4 years ago

In overall, I am not impressed with TeamViewer and would recommend a different remote file service like AnyDesk.

Pros

You can easily see someone's screen from them downloading TeamViewer. You can also use a whiteboard or upload/download files directly from the person you are connected to.

Cons

A lot of the features are behind a paywall which requires you to give them money for features that a person might never use. AnyDesk has these same features and is free to the user if they are only using it for personal use and not a business.

TeamViewer Remote

An essential asset for your team

Reviewed 4 years ago

For me, personally it's the best app to connect remotely available in the market. Anydesk is a good second.

Pros

You'll be able to utilize this software to remotely connect to either assist your clients, manage your sytstems remotely, connect to a server, transfer files or execute commands from anywhere in the world. You can bookmark all your connections and manage them in groups and view the status of the machines from a simple side window.

Cons

The license can be a little expensive and sometimes the software may lag if the client you're connecting too is outdated. You need to look up the licenses because even the cheapest one, unless you buy a volume license, you need to be specific on how many people will be using the license and only one can use it at the time.

AnyDesk replaced TeamViewer and I wish I had known about it sooner

Reviewed 5 years ago

I switched to AnyDesk from TeamViewer after a 5+ year long personal endeavor with TeamViewer for managing remote machines. AnyDesk is better in nearly all aspects, namely value.

Pros

-Free version works great! -Client is easy to install and setup -Mobile App has all of the same functions of desktop -Cross-platform client compatibility (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android) -Discrete usage (no nagging indicator that a remote session is in place, no pop up before or after session) -File transfer supports shared/local clipboard -Excellent performance/speed

Cons

-Mobile app can be a bit finicky when switching between touch and mouse-scrolling mode. The navwheel helps a lot with managing the controls though. -No Account-Based device remembering (you'll need to enter your remote device tags on any machines you want to access them from, rather than managing a single authenticated account)

We we used AnyDesk we were pleased with the simplicity

Pros

We used AnyDesk over networks where TeamViewer is locked. We use this kind of softwares to get backup access over remote or virtual computers. It does the job!

Cons

We did not use all it's functions. At all we did not find any con

Except machine names not shown, AnyDesk is highly recommended

Reviewed 4 years ago

It's good, cross-platform, easy to use and stable.

Pros

Its cross-platform and stable version unlike TeamViewer, AnyDesk doesn't requires users to update frequently and most importantly, it won't not allow users to remote due to unmatched versions.

Cons

By default, it only shows the connection name as a number which is not that easy for users to remember. It's better that AnyDesk can automatically attach the machine name next to the number for easier recognition.

Will recommend to other users.

Overall experience with Anydesk is fantastic. The user friendly nature of this App is the highest I rate compared to other remote Application I used like TeamViewer.

Pros

It is user friendly, only Anydesk I.P code is needed to connect client computer and this helps to solve the issue quickly. Even the non technical person can understand the steps to connect.

Cons

Some times Anydesk gets disconnected automatically also when client clicks on Accept it gets stuck. I tried reporting to the customer support but may be network issue or other. It is rare case however, but keeping such things apart, overall Anydesk helps to manage the work easily.

AnyDesk makes it easy to share my Desktop.

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

According to TeamViewer and other remote sharing apps, I think AnyDesk is the handiest app and it's easy to share. No connection drop, no extra hassle it's just simply awesome.

Cons

Screen rotation/resizing is not suitable enough. I think it could be better than now. Otherwise, everything works fine.

Never Mind!!!

Reviewed 3 years ago

Not good, Not that bad. Only using it when I'm unable to use TeamViewer Software because of network drop.

Pros

To be honest in some situation it works better then any other remote desktop software such as. TeamViewer. Specially you can bookmark id's, Setup password on Account, and Easy Session Recording.

Cons

When you are one a active session if someone from other side touch mouse or keyboard then it locks it self. You can't do a thing unless that other person using it. At some point windows user control prompts also makes it hard to use.

My choice for remote access

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

It's an excellent and very secure remote control program. Previously I was using TeamViewer for Free Non-Commercial purposes but it restricted my account, so I tried AnyDesk and I am happy ever since.

Cons

It is directly depending on the internet connection and it is not as quick as TeamViewer.

A pretty good alternative to remote desktop software

Reviewed 4 years ago

With the world issues by the COVID-19, I need to access to my office computer. Anydesk offers unassisted remote sessions by adding a password and It's enough stable to keep long remote sessions. There is no latency and the file transfer works perfectly.

Pros

The free license is non restrictive. Like the popular remote desktop software, its free license allows an extended and full usage, better than software like TeamViewer, which license sometimes only allows 5-minute sessions.

Cons

The graphic interface is a mess. Too many buttons and options. The remote screen sometimes and make the pixels fuzzy, it's almost impossible to read the remote screen.

Perfect for computers, poor for mobiles

Reviewed 5 years ago

My business uses remote desktop daily to assist customers who are having issues. 2 seats on AnyDesk costs the same as 1 seat for Teamviewer making it a very smart business purchase.

Pros

I like that AnyDesk is exactly the same as Teamviewer but much cheaper. I like how the address book is easy to use and you can see if users are online and ready to connect. The interface is very easy to navigate and there are a lot of options to choose from when you are connected on remote desktop. Unlike Teamviewer, Anydesk allows you to see multiple cursors which work independantly of others. This is especially helpful if you would like to point something out to a user with the cursor without interfering with what they are doing.

Cons

The product is perfect for computers, but on mobile I felt a bit let down that there is no functionality of being able to click on the mobile screen. This is a bit disappointing because I had hoped that I could operate on customers phones remotely with this. Another let down with mobile is the lack of instructions on how to control the remote desktop from your phone. There are no explanations on how to scroll, zoom in or access the keyboard. Other than this, great product.

Cons

Takes more tie than Teamviewer for customers. Talking them through setup takes a bit longer than Teamviewer

Anydesk is the best free remote software to access another computer.

Reviewed 3 years ago

I am able to work remotely and do my job exactly as I did it before the pandemic. I can access files, do file transfers and use software remotely.

Pros

Anydesk was the perfect solution when my TeamViewer stopped giving me free remote access to my work computer. Anydesk has faithfully worked well for me except on a few occasions, I have been able to do remote work easily during the pandemic accessing files that are on an office server and computer.

Cons

There have been rare occasions that Anydesk has disconnected on me in the middle of something and had trouble reconnecting for a while.

Javin's Review on AnyDesk

Reviewed 4 years ago

I overall had a great time with AnyDesk and would recommend it to an lot of people.

Pros

I liked the features that Anydesk had, such as disabling a person's mouse while controlling and uploading files. Other free remote software such as TeamViewer has these same options but are stuck behind a paywall. Anydesk is good in this case as the remote features are free and getting better with every update.

Cons

For people with slow connections, it was very laggy and the audio was choppy. The software is based on people with good or average internet connections.

Great Free Alternative to Teamviewer

Reviewed 4 years ago

Really pleasant and a great alternative whenever the Teamviewer License we use at work is under use and we've been considering and slowly moving our clients to AnyDesk because paying Teamviewer is now an expensive subscrption when there's so much good alternatives.

Pros

It works exactly how'd you expect if you come from using Teamviewer or other remote desktop access applications. You can transfer files, keep bookmarks of your most accessed computers or just organize them. Anydesk has also improved with time, which now I find no use to keep paying for Teamviewer which has become really expensive as of late. Anydesk has a lot of the options you would need from Teamviewer and does them right and secure. Even better when the price is FREE.

Cons

It can be a little bit heavy on the CPU side when using it on older hardware. Keep that in mind. If the connection is really slow, it can lag a bit, but you can optimize the image to be quick and disable the sound, whereas in Teamviewer, the image will just freeze and you have to quit Teamviewer, the only issue with AnyDesk is just the CPU Usage. Also the Mac Version used to be buggy, haven't used it in a while, but Buggy as in all the text was white (not sure if it's on the latest OS X, have not used it in a while, been on Windows).
