Pros

The VPN feature is amazing i use it with usb redirector and it works great i can control the computer and the usb eith the vpn and usb director yogether i love that feature.
It helps on easy to use interface with a powerful remote features. Its fast and easy to navigate through the interface with a quick support to desktop, which is amazing.
The easy to use application is so simple to learn and navigate. The ability to tackle projects even when your not physically at the office is fantastic.

Pros

That gets to be really useful for mundane things like disks getting full and memory getting full. The community shared scripts are great to copy and improve on.
The best feature has to be the pricing model. For Business running minimal personnel it is great for being able to start and grow your business.
It's a great and easy tool, just a few more features and will be perfect.

Cons

Occasionally there are errors, we get bumped from a server, or we have to restart a machine locally to re-connect -- but those issues are few & fear between. This is an issue maybe ~2% of the time.
I tried to cancel last year just be told it was done incorrectly (wasn’t processed by them) not that they admitted this. I was forced to pay a credit agency with the threat of penalties.
Sometimes it gets a little unstable, but I think the problem is more on the internet than on the program itself.

Cons

The only thing that has been frustrating is the lack of multimonitor support in Splashtop (the main remote connection software).
Support was unable to explain, poor "documentation" No go.
I still find the patching and scripting tools to be a bit of a bother.

faster response on customer problems, also being able to solve 9 out of 10 problems before they actually occur / client notices them.

Pros

easy of use, pay per technician not by agent. online backup and anti virus implementation right out of the box. Ticketing system

Cons

When agents are not yet installed, remote support is not possible. Like teamviewer using an ID and pass this is not possible.

Serves clients very well - just wish Splashtop was improved :-(

Pros

Love the value and the features- the interface is clean and its very easy to navigate and deploy agents.

Cons

Remote access could use overhaul - not to happy with Splashtop as compared to other products i have used before (ScreenConnect / Teamviewer) very buggy and unreliable

Pros

Great pricing, web based, great reporting, great customer service and easy access to remotely manage any device.

Cons

Remote connection only works in Windows and no end user remote connection feature but, both of these are on the road map.

Came to Atera from Kaseya. (Kaseya, please don't buy Atera)So much more affordable. I like Atera enough that I pay annually now. I'm committed. Support is usually helpful. Rarely have to wait in a long queue.

Pros

It's easy to use, the script library is growing and very useful.

Cons

Splashtop remote access - It works well, but I would really like to be able to view multiple remote monitors at the same time!

Regarding viewing multiple remote monitors, this is not something that Splashtop offers. However, if you are on the growth or power plan, you have access to AnyDesk which allows you to do this.

I really like how everything is integrated into the system in order to access and manage our clients.

Cons

The issues of not being able to connect at times with Atera agent and Splashtop Remote Service as Agents will show offline when they are in fact not in other remote access software.

Altera has increased time and productivity with their remote tool suite helping access dozens of remote machines on foreign networks.

Pros

The IT and patch management paired with the remote capabilities makes this an essential tool for any small or startup MSP or consultants.

Cons

The ticketing and knowledge base are my least favorite modules of this software, however, both are serviceable options just not as polished as the remote and management tools.

Integration with Zapier is a huge plus and the API portal is really good to work with.

Cons

Splashtop is a pain. When are you guys getting TeamViewer? App integration would be amazing so Techs on the road can enter hours in easily.

Unlimited unattended agents makes Atera my #1 choice and recommendation. The ability to customize the appearance of customer information with their logo is great. They are constantly improving as well. For MSP's this tool is awesome.

It would be nice to have a port forwarding tool from remote computer to local machine.

Need automated add Name reply in Atera, I mean when you reply on the ticket I don't have to add the name of the user it should detect it from the contact Also, I want it not to count the weekends and the holidays in ticket time, need to be paused at those times

Pros

Great price point for a RMM and love how they are growing the product. New items every month. I would recommend this product to any one.

Cons

The remote software needs a bit of work but once you get the hang of it works.

Near perfect

Pros

Easy of use, unlimited remote users, great reporting

Cons

Ticketing system could use improvement, adding more techs should be a little less expensive

Atera offers an advance infrastructure for our remote support requirements.

Pros

Based on my experience with Atera so far, it is one of the best remote support platform in the market and meets all our needs.

Cons

That could be great if the session time of the free trial was longer and in pricing aspect Atera could have more flexible options.
