Pros
CardConnect offers competitive rates and their cardpointe and copilot portals work great. There is a ton of functionality for useful reporting.
The response time was amazing and made it their priority to resolve any issues that you may have as soon as possible.
So far CardConnect has been great. Their portals is easy to use and they have clean UI.
Cons
Card connect refuse to email this persons to say they are sorting it out and refuse to email him to take responsibility for the appalling service they are giving.
I have had countless promises and been told countless times it is sorted out. But the emails keep going to the wrong person and I keep getting the most horrible emails and threats from them.
It has been quite some time since I have had such horrendous service and me and my business’ reputation it being slandered because card connect can’t do a simply change on their records.

Pros

At the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, we've had to implement a new educational management software and as a result, we needed to register for a merchant account that was applicable to the new software. After further review of the potential merchant accounts, CardConnect was a winner. It acted as gateway to Authorize.Net that provided the best CC processing/transaction fees compared to the other merchants and offers a number of services that benefits the Institute. Overall, the best feature about this software is their customer service from all sides. We were given incredible support through the whole process from the application to going live. The response time was amazing and made it their priority to resolve any issues that you may have as soon as possible.

Cons

The only con that I had experienced thus far is that transactions processed online, through our management software, the funding details of the transaction is quite limited when reviewing it on their website; thus, making it quite difficult to record the payment in Quickbooks since the payment needs to be recorded by Customer.

Integrates Well

So far it has worked quite well, we have only had a few hiccups along the way.

Pros

This software works well with our Estimating/Invoicing software, Aspire, making it a simple conversion.

Cons

It takes a long time for our issues to be resolved--customer service is pretty slow. Even calling you will wait on hold for an hour.

Not good for brand new business owners due to minimum payment requirements

Overall, our experience was mediocre. The extra fees ended up turning us off to the service even though it was well integrated with our other systems that we use in our business.

Pros

It was relatively easy to use and integrated with our EMR system, so it made it easy to reconcile patient accounts.

Cons

We had to key in credit cards and there was a monthly minimum that you had to meet. Many of our clients pay through packages, so they did not make payments monthly. A lot of our clients also pay by check. So we had a few months where we did not meet their monthly minimum. We were assessed extra fees a lot on top of their processing fees and the invoices were very confusing to read in order to determine where the charges came from. There was not a good explanation, so we ultimately stopped using this software in favor of Square.

Great support

Been pretty good. Ryan Babb, my local rep, goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of

Pros

Great support. Not to mention we have saved a good bit in processing fees

Cons

The pay now portal that I was provided for my website is very glitchy and only works part of the time
