Pros

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks.

Pros

User friendly design that is easy to learn and navigate, great for invoicing people as well as paying invoices, good organization of invoices and payments.
Quickbooks is the bread and butter of my business, it is the best accounting program I have used. I love that it continues to improve and allow more integration with apps and documentation programs.
The help on the team when getting this product was great, the features are honestly really great, I use it for payroll as well and it is really worth the cost.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

Submitting hours for the wrong week unintentionally can be frustrating because there is no way to reverse it without supervisor permissions.
The customer service is terrible. I usually get forwarded from person to person because I'm in the "wrong department," but I know it's because the person just doesn't know the answer.
No recourse through customer service. Data is held hostage as leverage for stopping cancellation of unauthorized charges, ie: sure you can cancel but we're not sure what will happen to your data.

I relish a lot with FreshBooks:- Financial reporting, invoice customization and inventory control.

Pros

FreshBooks automates complex accounting tasks such as AP, AR and general ledger.I like that FreshBooks has mobile application for iOS that help me carry accounting tasks on the go.

Cons

Unfortunately, FreshBooks does not offer capabilities for global enterprise corporations until it is integrated with external accounting apps like QuickBooks Online.

Pros

Great software to create and send invoices and simplify communication with our accountants. Also, this program makes it very easy to manage expenses.

Cons

Probably the cost would be the biggest con. Also lacks enterprise-grade capacity. Have to enter invoices manually if importing from Quickbooks, etc.

Good, solid alternative to Quickbooks for very small businesses

Pros

I actually really like the app and use it more frequently than the cloud based desktop version. It was also much more intuitive and easy to learn when I switched a few years ago from Quickbooks to Freshbook. It seems cleaner, more up-to-date, and especially on what the customer sees (invoices) - it all looks fresher and more modern than Quickbooks.

Cons

It does lack some of the features that are available through Quickbooks, but nothing that we really need for a very small business. However, knowing that it has fewer features, it does seem a little bit costly for what you get.

Not the best small business Accounting software on the market, but not a fly by night organization either. For being new to the game compared to QB and Xero, has time to make improvements and catch up! :) B quality

Pros

Easy to use, price structure compared to Xero and QuickBooks was way better!!! I like how it runs in the cloud and not on a desktop. easy to use a laptop or an ipad with because it is cloud based.

Cons

Wasn't able to run all the reports that I would have liked that Quickbooks and Xero do, more extensive reports to compare business year to year....

Easy and intuitive! Freshbooks links well to other platform (similar to Quickbooks) There's also the option to use Zapier if Freshbooks doesn't have native link

Cons

The dashboard reporting is not as extensive as Quickbooks. I think Quickbooks still takes the cake for that.

Seems to be a good product. Easy transition from Quickbooks. Cost was better than quickbooks.

Cons

I had problems during the weekend and no customer support was available. My business was severely impacted

Fresh book built with effective accounting features, which let the budding enterprises to have a strong financial integration with its customers. 1 month free trail helps to get started with Fresh book easily. Fresh book provides invoices in a very professional look but simple to analyze, it organizes transaction summary with different clients, tracks the expenses under specific heads. Fresh books help to accept Credit card payment in a secured gateway and which also process the payment quickly.

Cons

Inventory management can't be done, stays as a pressure for the business working with physical stocks. If Fresh Book does the forecasting or estimating the expenses of the projects from the previous record , it would be helpful to the users and let to have a idea about the upcoming financial requirements.

I wish Freshbooks did more to compete with software such as Quickbooks. I had to migrate from Freshbooks to Quickbooks after my business grew.

So much more intuitive than Quickbooks. However because of the shortcomings with reports etc. I'm forced to use Quickbooks also. I wish the people at Freshbooks could teach Quickbooks how to make things user friendly.

Pros

Love that this software is better and cheaper than QuickBooks. We started with QuickBooks online getting charged 9.99 a month now its over $50

Cons

So far we have not found anything that we would consider a con.

I like the interface of the software. Freshbooks, as you can tell from the name, takes on Quickbooks... but it doesn't get very far. Not much to like when you've already used Quickbooks.

Cons

The basic version of FreshBooks only allows the user to have a limited number of clients. One the other hand, QuickBooks does not limit the number of possible clients.

Pros

Simple accounting for small businesses who don't need an enterprise-level SaS. Awesome platform and support was friendly / knowledgable.

Cons

Inventory management / tracking? Non existent unless you switch to their legacy version which will be gone soon. No point in having an accounting software if you can't track inventory!

Low cost makes it a great alternative to QuickBooks but lacks important functionality

Easy to use and easy to learn. Good for someome who has little knowledge of record keeping and book keeping. Great for mobile businesses or people on the go.

Pros

This software is very easy to use and can be picked up by anybody, even with very little knowledge about bookkeeping. The ability to take pictures of receipts is helpful and it is easy to do work on the go.

Cons

This software makes it difficult to do more complicated adjustments and does not have the same functionalities as QuickBooks. I don't like the layout as it is more like an app then accounting software and is different enough from QuickBooks that it can be difficult moving from QuickBooks to Freshbooks.

I was looking for something with more features than my previous software (Freshbooks) but I went back to Freshbooks because it is SO much easier to use.

Pros

It has tons of features and automatically imports sales. I also loved the ability to set rules for expense categoration.

Cons

Super confusing to use and easy to mess up. I made a mistake early on and was told by the PAID customer service option that it was impossible to fix.
