Pros

The greatest benefit that came from this software, for me, is the ability to conduct business, specifically, complete a payment transaction, no matter where you are located.
Square is an awesome piece of software to use. The retail side has great capabilities for sales, inventory, gift cards, rewards, and much much more.
Square is very simple to learn and use as an end user, and it has gain a lot of popularity recently, customers feel more and more comfortable with this system.

Pros

Brilliant great managers that keep you on track to make sure you are optimise all the features that are constantly being updated.
It makes my business run more efficiently, at a higher profit and a seamless experience for my clients. Everything about this system just works, the team have done an excellent job.
I like that it’s an easy program to use with great functions that are improving all the time.

Cons

If I am to complain about something I would complain about the percentage I am giving back to square but that it the cost of doing business.
The only thing that has ever been slightly frustrating is the traditional card reader being sensitive when swiping cards. Sometimes I'll have to try 3-4 times to get it to register.
I dislike that it fails sometimes and it is not accessible at many different vendors and restaurants.

Cons

The customer support service is terrible - I have had payments taken from clients that have not been transferred to me causing cash flow problems.
You will also be manipulated and pressured and lied to to get you off the free system and onto the payment system.
Even though your no show fees could end up paying for the fees, if you do not have any no shows a lot of your earnings are then left to pay for the fees.

i opened my Beauty salon recently, and frankly i was lost in organizing my sales and services.... until i found Shedul... helped me to categorize my services... gave me way to add online booking to my facebook page.... something still new on my area.... but gave me a professional look... more than that... Shedul users feels part of Shedul team... i can freely share my experience to Shedul team and ask for any amendments, and they will schedule it in their update line....

It saves me time and stress. I don’t have to show people or walk them through on how to book an appointment. It’s plain and simple.

Pros

I like that my clients are required to have a number on file. I like how I can set my own prices. Control my booking hours on the app.

Cons

I wish Fresha had something like square where i could just have people tap on my iPhone to pay. Or something like a square reader but for fresha.

The sms reminder has almost stopped my no show customers and that in itself is worth it

Pros

How easy it is to use. How it also keeps track of daily sale and all financial analysis. I can't recommend it enough.

Cons

Only down side is you need to rely on the internet. Would be good to use it off line too.

From a set up point of view, it's super easy

Pros

My lovely client needed a way for customers to book appointments at her aesthetics clinic safely and securely from her new website. Schedul was the perfect fit. I am now implementing the system on another beauty clinics site. The customer service it l is truly epic. They reply in minutes and nothing is too much trouble.

Nothing so far. Everything works as it should

I am planning on implementing it soon, but my experimental experience has been phenomenal.

Pros

- Very thorough and detailed - Free - Visual analytical data like graphs - Ability to track all the numbers, without having to keep different spreadsheets for everything. - Ability to keep employee, client, sales, inventory, point of sale (and other features I cannot think of because it's so complete) It can be kept all in the same place. - Ability to text or email customer receipts when checking out. - The best in the market based on my research - Great support team

Cons

- The only thing I would have to say I saw as a flaw was that I experimented with the account in order to learn my way around and was unable to delete all data (which was experimental) even as the owner of the account. I think the owner of the account should have full administration rights (you already have all access minus this feature), or should be able to request for the support team to reset the information in order to not create a new account or have false analytical data. I have addressed it with the support team and they gave me a prompt response stating this is for security reasons and that they are working on implementing new features as others request them, and they see possible. So maybe if more people request this, they can find a way to help us.

It's 100% free, Constantly updating and adding new features to the platform. Most importantly it's an all in one Solutions for startups like me. Can manage the bookings, Point of sales, inventory and payroll. And lastly amazing help & support form the team setup and running the software and troubleshooting.

Cons

No cons about Shedul at the time of writing. For new features requests, FAQs and track your feature requests I recommend to go to https://shedul.uservoice.com.

I've been using Fresha plus for awhile for my home salon , its lovely and easy to use got impressive features also they are always improving or adding extra! Good value for money would highly recommend

Cons

Picture that can be added along to each service to give customers as idea visual looks professional. Hopefully this will be added soon. Google calendar Integration would be good along with extra colours for services.

It is an awesome system

Pros

This fairly robust freemium system is amazing at the price point. The ease of use and features you get without paying is awesome.

Cons

There could more features, but this one will handle much of what you need as a service provider in most cases.

Pros

Everything right at your fingertips, easy to add customers, services and other users. Customer service is excellent and responds right away to solve concerns and questions

Cons

Cannot integrate with square. Would like to be able to do charges, cash sales, etc. on one tablet. I'm sure they will get this up and running in the future.

Cons

I couldn't work out how to add something to a sale that I was checking out. I'm sure you can do it, but it's not obvious and I had to give up in the end.

I do not understand all the glowing reviews. This is a Buggy program with little customer service. Definitely a hassle. Won't let you do some basic things a med spa needs.

Price point Visual is ok Theoretically some features that are nice (but often awkward to use)

Cons

Customer service is HORRIBLE. NO PHONE to call anyone. They don't always respond to emails and when they do it's never the same person so ongoing issues are difficult to resolve. The demand screenshots even when you adequately described the issue and it is easy to u understand- this is frustrating when it's intermittent (like it doesn't want to integrate the credit card payment) They deploy new features, but it is difficult to utilize them sometimes as the instructions are vague.

SHEDUL APP IS FANTASTIC!

As the manager of a gym Shedul enables me to book appointments at point of sale for our club personal trainers with ease. The automated reminders keep no-shows to a minimum and the ease of re-scheduling clients makes the app easy to use. You can add products, services and adjust at checkout to offer discounts too. I've been using this system for 2 months and its definitely been a great addition...

This company is on point. I had a slight issue with the texting and it was fixed immediately. Wonderful costumer service.

It's changing how I work, the link for my clients to book now is saving me from many late nights searching for my diary to check my availability, I point clients in the direction of my link to this 😍

Pros

I am switching my paper diary to this. The app is amazing, who doesn't always have their phone on them? Who carries an A4 page per day diary everywhere they go?? Not ma anymore!

Cons

Because of my work load and clients largely being weddings they can book in up to 2 years in advance

This is the best software around! I cannot believe it is free. the ease of setting up appointments is a big plus. The tracking of services is a bonus. I was up and running in minutes. The only thing missing at this point is setting up reoccurring appointments.. Strongly recommend this to others.

Very nice software. It had a nice touch with the name reformulation.

Pros

Very easy to use, very intuitive, with an awesome customization level considering it is a free software.

Cons

Sometimes I felt some delay on the software but its was very rarely. Overall very good with nothing to point out.
