My favorite feature is being able to access multiple accounts as well as having multiple windows open at one time. It is great for a multi-tasker like myself which saves me a lot of time.
It was a bit hard to learn the features but once you're well trained it is easy to use and support was excellent in helping.

Very good
KPI. [sensitive content hidden] and team. Willing to make changes and customize. Small enough of a company to make relationship.
Some loose ends with set up. Need more checking in meetings during first quarter. Better pediatric support and features as they grow.

Poor.
The Scheduler feature is adequate. I like that I can easily access my notes that are no signed.
Having to click on many, many tabs is always cumbersome and makes even short notes feel like they take forever. The server is down frequently and has on several occasions deleted notes.

Overall, Practice Pro has been an excellent way to document daily notes, progress reports, and evaluations. It makes paperwork flow so much faster.
My favorite thing about Practice Pro is the ease of completing reports and billing for medical codes. The appointments page is easy to read and understand. When there are bugs, the Practice Pro team is available to fix it within a couple of days.
My least favorite thing about Practice Pro is when they change how our report templates function without us asking them to and we have to relearn how to use the system to work for us and how we want our reports to look.

The daily SOAP notes and evaluation notes are the easiest that I’ve ever used. I can record information in a variety of ways that makes it easy for multiple settings and types of patients.
There are several redundancies or naming conventions that appear throughout the program and make it confusing and time consuming to navigate to what I’m looking for. For example, patient communications AND returning patient visits are both called “follow ups”, which has been confusing on multiple occasions. There are also multiple different “patient information” buttons that navigate to different screens. It seems like different teams have developed these features and they don’t communicate well.

Overall it is great and my favorite system that I've used.
Customization is my most liked part of Practice Pro. It saves us a lot of time to already have templates ready.
I wish there was a better response from customer service. They took a very specific billing provider feature a few years ago and it makes it very difficult for us PTAs to document correctly because it doesn't display which DPT we're billing under. We've asked for this to be changed for YEARS and it never gets fixed. Its created more denials from insurance and costs us money.

Overall, the support is excellent and the product meets my needs.
I really like the ease of scheduling, being able to make reoccurring appointments appear on my schedule and easily having access to my notes.
There are a lot of functions that it does that I have no idea about or there are not a lot of trainings to help with. I would love it to be easier to see billing and not have 5 different ways to access different information. I wish it was all in one place.

I use practice or every day at work and has been very easy to get use to it. The only changes that I don’t lie is that now the goals that are part of a report are in a different tab outside the report itself.
Easy access, easy to use. Practice pro respond quickly with any issue. Easy to move from place to place.

Program easy to understand and use.
Program Ease. User friendly. It doesn't take long for beginners to understand.
I am the one that enters all payments. On the daily deposit summary: It would be VERY beneficial to have the report print the checks in the order that they were entered.

Upon initial hiring my practice pro training date was not until 2 weeks into the start of my employment. Thanks to Practice Pros ease of navigation I self taught myself the program and how to assess necessary documents and information in the first 5 days. If that doesn't attest to the ease of usability of this program then I don't know what does.
I love the large icons at the top of the page that make navigation between screens very easy as well as ability to access future appointment, appointments past, electronically attached files, and patient information. Everything is in view and assessable from almost any location in the program.
My only issue with the use of Practice Pro is that it frequently requires maintenance and updates which interfere with my ability to document. Most recently we have had issues with the west coast servers which severely interferes with our ability to do our work.

Like all EMR programs, they have their positives and negatives, but I felt Practice Pro's positives outweighed any negatives, and wish our company had stayed with it.
Visual ease of keeping track of various insurors, pt types/case types. Ease of transferring from one section to another as was needed.
None. At this time, I feel that any negatives were outweighed by positives.

Practice Pro has overall been an easy EMR to work with in my 2 years as a Physical Therapist. I know where everything is located and haven't had issues other than the occasional crash of the system.
I like that Practice Pro is fairly easy to navigate and is straight forward. The color coding for scheduling is very helpful in knowing where a patient is at in their level of care.
I don't like that sometimes Practice Pro crashes, especially after being updated. I also like that I can access from both my computer and phone.

Overall things are good. Our start up was difficult but we worked through it with a good team on your side.
Ease of entry of patient information. Billing is good.
That appointment types do not cross to the provider. Too many places to find the same thing.

I used it to bill for a Physical Therapy practice and I did not like it at all, I actually quit doing the billing for this practice because they use this software and it is not efficient or user friendly.
nothing , it is not a good product and I did not like it at all
I have been doing medical billing for over 20 years with many different software programs and I thought Practice Pro was not user friendly at all, it is difficult to use, the customer support was awful, and the program itself was hard to maneuver from one screen to another.

The vendor is easy to get a hold of and able to correct problems in a timely manner. My specific job requires I switch screens quickly, look for available appointments, and pull up previous charts. Practice Pro navigates easily and quickly, making my job run smoothly. Patients often want to get off the phone as soon as possible. I need a product that will run quickly, give me the information I need immediately so I can assist the patient, and move on to the next patient.
I tend to look at the schedule a week at a time, and the line dividing the days is too light. Also, when filling out the patient information, if I do not have the social security number, it is time-consuming to go through previous patients that do not have social either. I would prefer not to have that feature. Then, when adding an additional insurance if the patient has two of the same insurance carriers, the system will not save the second insurance. I receive an error message. It usually takes me 3-4 times trying to trick the system to get it to take the second insurance. Also, when sending a dash back and forth, the system does not keep history of the senders. After it has been sent a few times, it's difficult to know who originated the message.

Flowsheets were easy to carry over and fill out.
Difficulty implementing new things onto evaluation that were more specialized, would just type into text box. Also sometimes server would be very slow and all the checkboxes would take a long time instead of being convenient.

It's great because It allows me to link HEP to my patients.
It's very user friendly and I really like the ease of scheduling.
I have to constantly delete my cookies if not I'm not able to see certain reports.
