Infor HMS is a progress PMS solution, where new enhancements are released every quarter. Initially, our experience's were not great in 2016, as HMS was somewhat lacking in features. In 2018, we have integrated practically all our system's in Infor HMS, delivering best in Class functionality. Paperless check-in via IPad is the best product out there. Housekeeping Mobility, saves your business 12 thousand a year, as its included FOC! New check-in app allow's you to provide VIP Check-in Expierence like no other!
The new enhancement's do come in wave's, and mandatory. Takeup of new changes can be quite challenging to some.

Overall, we are very happy with the INFOR HMS. The onsite training was top notch, the functionality and ease of use is amazing, and the reports that are available give us the ability to forecast and adjust as needed to maximize profitability.
The reports that are available are extremally helpful. Training time with new employees has been greatly reduced. This is the third PMS that we have had and by far the best. Functionality and ease of use is amazing.
The lack of a Defense Travel Service Module. It would be very helpful if we could message all in our system via e-mail. We have new challenge that will affect all our out of state travelers. The lack of rental car availability in Alaska will no doubt have an adverse impact on the majority of our customers. Being able to send a PSA to all our inbound guest through INFOR would be very helpful.

Nothing. This system single handling destroyed the hotel's staff morale. Only feature that is better is remote friendly, meaning you can log in at home and use it since it is web-based.
Everything. Our hotel "upgraded" our system from OPERA to Infor HMS. After 3 months of using Infor HMS, clearly OPERA is way more advance in their program. Infor HMS can improve on their billing screen, room assignment, finding guest reservations past/future, everything you can think of as it is NOT USER FREINDLY, you have to take multiple steps to do a single thing. It's basically an EXCEL Sheet someone created from their mother's basement.

I think its user friendly, but could use some change in its customer support features.
HMS is incredibly user-friendly. It is easy to navigate using the drop down menus, and its bright, bold pages make it easy to read. Everything is fairly straight forward.
I do not like the customer support options; often feels like phone tag and representatives can be hard to understand. HMS would also slow down somewhat regularly, causing a negative impact when we made reservations or checked people in, as we would be waiting a while for things to load.

It is easy system as opposed to other programs I have worked on. Also I can log into program from home, or other window options.
The drop menus are self explanatory. Functionality is easy to work the program . Easy to log into the system from different windows.
Not crazy about printing or separate folios. The screen does not show what you want to immediately print. And there is a long pause when printing.
