VisualSP will help reduce the cost of time spent supporting users within Microsoft 365, being able to use the resource else where to improve other services in the organisation is a plus!
Being able to get support throughout all the Microsoft 365 services because the tool follows you everywhere you go is a great idea! This tool has helped support staff in answering the burning questions they had about Microsoft and reduced the cost and time spent creating IT Support Tickets through the IT Support Portal.
I cannot fault VisualSP in any way, because every time I had a request to improve the tool for the Organisation, the VisualSP has always proposed a solution that resolves any situation I had, so kudos the Dev Team!

Training content is displayed as per context and it is accessible in the same application.
We didn't purchase premium license, so in case of changes in any help configuration I had to manually import them in all site collections

We've had very good experiences with VisualSP.
The team at VisualSP is very helpful and makes themselves easily available to assist. The software is intuitive.
Not so much to do with the product, but the training space is so broad with so many teams involved and so many products available, that it's hard to get buy in.

I have been an advocate of VisualSP for many years since I view training and adoption planning as the number 1 priority in making a project successful. In all my dealings with the VisualSP staff I have experienced nothing but responsiveness, technical expertise, helpfulness, and a willingness to make each implementation successful. It is the quality of their people that makes all the difference.
The implementation of M365 solutions in very complex, but from a technology standpoint it is straightforward. It is not the software that causes problems, it is the lack of training and planning for change that is the main risk to project failure. VisualSP helps reduce this risk by forcing organizations to think about training across the enterprise. It provides a framework for the training department and others charted with the success of the project to really think about the needs of the end users.
The implementation of VisualSP can be tricky for those who have not done it before. Luckily their support team is fantastic.
Hi Jim, we agree with you that, not only are M365 solutions very complex, but pretty much all technology is complex. That is where VisualSP really shines because you can use our application anywhere. VisualSP isn't restricted to the M365 stack, but rather can be used with any web-based application such as SalesForce, ServiceNow, and Workday (plus many, many others)!

Initial Integration with Dynamics is easy to install as it is simply a plug-in on the browser. Contextual and Onboarding-specific help items are great. It's also not intrusive to the Dynamics user experience.
Content creation interface options could be a little smaller, but I may just need to zoom out of my browser. Being able to pin the window and Help Items would be helpful so you don't have to keep closing out of the Help Item to complete a step.

We have been able to overcome a hurdle that many other applications grapple with, and that is interacting with objects within an iFrame. With VisualSP, you are now able to attach inline help and walkthrough steps to elements within an iFrame, a HUGE win for our customers.

Great overall experience.
Easy for all staff to download this plug-in. Very clear-cut instructions really helped us all and after that, it helped us onboard to other software.

I love how the guide remains hidden until I click on it and then provides me relevant learning materials as I continue to use the app. The content is organized really well with most relevant content on top and others easily found via search
I hope the VisualSP guide can have content for more apps that may not be generally used but that we utilize in our day to day tasks.

Great overall experience. VisualSP is much less expensive than hiring a support person, and extremely effective.
As a solution developer, when a solution goes into production, I want to move on to the next project. Before VisualSP, I was frequently interrupted with questions from previous solutions, regardless of how many different ways things were documented. Now if there is a new hire, a change, or support issue - everything they need is right in front of them. This does require that I document things since...
I don’t have any complaints. VisualSP is always rolling out smart new features, and their support is very helpful.
Hi Pam, thanks for the detailed review! VisualSP really shines when utilized as part of a support process. You can cut down on interruptions by creating a help item with the answer to a frequently asked question. Then whenever that question comes up, give the user a link to the help item which will open up the appropriate web page and answers the question in-context.

My overall experience with VisualSP has been incredibly positive. My company just implemented VisualSP Online this year so we are still in the very early days of roll-out, but I truly hope that my company will see the amazing potential and leverage VisualSP for communications, training announcements, onboarding programs, etc. Thank you, VisualSP!
VisualSP is the most innovative and easy-to-use help platform I've seen. The fact that it is completely customizable with such a wide variety of available functionality makes it the most effective training, onboarding, and communication tool I've ever worked with. Every improvement I've suggested to them has already been implemented or mitigated, so this is a tough question to answer. The only area that could use a little improvement is to get better alignment from Microsoft on a simpler help item grouping strategy, but I know that VisualSP is already working on improving this and we were able to customize ours anyway.
Thanks for the great review! The learning curve for VisualSP is very short compared to many of our competitors. We can have you up and creating your own custom help items after a quick tutorial, but provide functionality that enables you to get as fancy as you want.

For the price, Visual SP has A LOT of good features. It is easy to get ahold of the customer service, and work through issues or learn how to better use the app.
It is a great tool for looping people into SharePoint. Whether they're power users or beginners, they can benefit from Visual SP. It also prevents me (the sole SharePoint Admin) from having to repeatedly answer the same question/comment.
It is a little bit clunky. It took some poking around to get the banners/announcements to appear where I needed them. A bit of it was probably user inexperience.

The service we have received from the VSP team has been second to none. From our initial conversations with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] through to calls with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and hand off to [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the interactions have been well prepared, professional, supportine and very enjoyable.
Set up of the product is straight forward. The service we receive is excellent, the performance of the product is good, there are no noticible delays in SP pages loading when using the tool. We've started to use custom help files recently, this is an additional bonus to the core product and one which we didn't fully realise the value of until recently.
We experiencved a few issues when running the wizard deployment tool and had to resort to powershell instead, but that was not a major issue.
Hi Carl, thanks for the great review! The VisualSP application that loads in your browser is very small. It is also configured to load after everything else on the page has loaded so that it doesn't impact the user experience.

My experience with VisualSP just keeps getting better and better. They really work on customer satisfaction and want your company to succeed with using its solution. They offer monthly customer roundtables where they show new updates, and get feedback from customers on what they would like to see improved or added to the product. They offer monthly webinars for users to learn more about various applications or user functions. Recently they added free monthly account reviews where they go over your VisualSP stats and work with you to reach your goals. The value for the money keeps adding up year after year.
VisualSP allows my users to get the contextual help they need at a simple click of a button. Being able to display help items based on the section of the application they are using simplifies the help process. I love that I can create my own help items as needed, create or incorporate help items into a SharePoint widget, and make my own walk-throughs. This software is so customizable and flexible you can do pretty much anything you need with it.
Nothing so far. If there was something that was confusing, or hard to accomplish, VisualSP takes that feedback and improves their product. I have no complaints.
