Easy to use Fantastic customer service Affordable

On rare occasions, bit of a lag time moving from one page to next while filling in form. Nothing major.

Good look. Easy to build. Includes all features that one might need for such an online CRF. Great customer service.

Exporting and reshaping data from the databaase could be made a bit easier.

It helps you to have everything in order.

You can't print the information in a structured format.

Castor is very easy to use for data collection, but also to build other sharing platforms.

The possibility to upload video's should be more easy.

- Really easy use - very fast and complete answers from support

- sometimes is not easy to fill the form by the Investigators if repeated measures (report button) are used

The ease of use of our platform is something we aim for and our support team is always there to help with quick responses and useful tips on Castor's power features! The ease of use of the reports depends mostly on how the database is built - using many report buttons is not always convenient. For repeated measures, it is more appropriate to use the dedicated repeated measure field instead - this makes data entry for such measurements much easier! It is very intuitive to use. It's very easy to design a CRF. Customer support is always available to help with queries, if there are any. I honestly did not have any trouble at all running my study on Castor. I would recommend it to everyone and I strongly believe collaborative research is the way to go forward.

Very easy and user friendly to set up with a great support team. Much more affordable than previous databases we have used.

Nothing- I really can't fault it. Highly recommend

It is reliable. Every day a back-up is made of my database.

Sometimes the site is running (very) slow. Especially after running some calculations.

The app should run quite smoothly, so if you are encountering some lags, it could be the result of how the calculations are set up in your study and their amount in a single step. The amount of features for the data collection questions, several forms and options can be selected for different types of data. I have used many of the features to capture different data types. Also the options for randomization and surveys are very useful for clinical trials.

For first time users it will be time consuming to make the data collection forms, however once you have the forms you can re-use them for new studies by importing the forms.

Castor is really easy to use and realiable software

I am really content with castor; so I do not have any negative points about this software

Easy to build the eCRF forms as well as define the study roles and join users to the study. CRF forms can be replicated from one study to another in very easy way and faster.

The data export functionality should be improved. XML and SAS datasets formats exports should be added

I really liked the speed and security of this tool. it is very simple to trace all the data entered.

Sometimes it has happened that the insertion of a single piece of data was not successful

The application's intuitive interface allows stress-free navigation with functions for efficient study management.

I haven't at the moment a different view to criticize the system.

Userfriendly, very easy to handle. It is not difficult to find your way.

I do not have any bad experience with Castor.

It is easy to deploy, a quite friendly user system, allows quick study setup and is not expensive at all.

The audit trail difficult to extract and get. I had some issues when designing a page with a big table: performance issues led to problems when recording data. Keep in mind to design pages without hundreds of fields.

Safe program, you can use it on every computer, at home and in the office. It was fine to use the trial version.

I like how the EDC looks because it is very visual, and it is easy to see what remains to be completed.

Sometimes, the queries are not visible in which CRFs are located.

The system is extremely user friendly. The startup time was quick when entering the webpage.

Margins cut off subject numbers, so they weren’t displayed properly. Queries could be resolved quicker if there wasn’t an option to choose between completed, resolved, etc.

It is an easy to use and understandable system.

I had trouble changing the entered data later and there was no color change after the questions were answered.
