DataDome Anti-bot Protection software is a cloud-based platform designed to help businesses identify and prevent bot attacks in real-time using in-memory pattern databases along with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
The application enables IT professionals to identify, block, and classify various types of OWASP threats such as scraping, account takeover, card cracking, and credential stuffing for further analysis and monitoring. DataDome Anti-bot Protection lets team members manage unwanted traffic from multiple locations and filter vulnerable endpoints based on custom rules. It attaches ID tags to requests, which helps network engineers monitor false positives, add traffic data to server logs, and receive email reports on a daily or weekly basis.
The platform offers integration with various third-party platforms including Amazon CloudFront CDN, HAProxy, Envoy, and Nginx. With its timeboxing feature, organizations can restrict bot traffic to endpoints for a specific time. It also offers a variety of other features such as real-time notifications, custom captcha, single sign-on (SSO), multi-user access, two-factor authentication, validation logic, benchmarking, rate limiting, and more.
