BCMS by Continuity2 is a cloud-based business continuity management solution to aid with the day-to-day management of business continuity requirements. The system offers tools for management information, reporting, plan management, incident management, auditing, learning management, business impact analysis, document management, corrective action planning, and more.
Designed to assist with the management of businesses continuity, BCMS offers tools for creating, storing, managing, sharing, and analyzing business continuity plans. The management information and reporting module can be used to gain insight into the performance of the management system and progress of plans, exercises and more, including automatically generated graphs and visual reports. Business continuity plans can be created and managed within the BCMS system with features including version control, collaborative review, plan distribution, import of existing organizational BC plans, and simultaneous synchronization of any edits to plans. Types of plans include IT disaster recovery plans, emergency procedures, crisis management and more, and plans can be created from the pre-built templates within BCMS.
Incidents can be logged and managed within BCMS, and notifications or alerts can be automatically triggered to inform users of any detected incidents. Notification features include SMS, voice messaging, call conferencing, and action creation/tracking, and task lists can be compiled to ensure that all involved individuals are aware of the action plan. The BCMS platform offers both dynamic reporting and business impact analysis in order to gain insight into key products and services, the effects of incidents, KPIs, critical activities, risk analysis, and more. This insight can be used to aid with business planning and to carry out corrective actions when needed.
