QuasarDB is a high-performance database software with distributed, column-oriented layout and native time series support. Features such as time series data management, in-memory capabilities, data safety, API access and unlimited storage help users manage complex time series use cases in financial applications. QuasarDB combines large-scale storage and instant query within its innovative database design. Transfer and calculations are handled quickly, allowing users to work interactively on large amounts of data.

QuasarDB supports data management functionality by providing users with a single binary for analytics, storage, and clustering. Users also have access to on-disk technology with automatic data pagination, horizontal and elastic scaling, transparent and configurable time series sharding tools for automatic load balancing, plus almost unlimited storage and memory capabilities. QuasarDB offers broad language support, and built-in connectors for popular analytics tools. Easy data access is also facilitated through SQL-like query language and tools for high speed CSV/TSV ingestion, data exports and backups.

QuasarDB enables users to manage data safely with built-in data replication, secure authentication and stream encryption. Other safety features include consistent updates, reliable disk writing, and distributed MVCC transactions. Operating as a high-performance solution, QuasarDB supports zero-pause and zero-copy functionality, along with C++ implementation. The platform also provides on-the-fly time series optimized data compression for efficient disk usage, and indexing tools for quick data lookup.

Using QuasarDB allows us to ingest large volumes of data and query it in real time.It is very fast at statistical analysis: our dataset contains lots of numbers, and it appears to be one of the faster databases out there. It has no problems ingesting large volumes of data (millions of transactions per secs), and the data is immediately available (no buffering), which means our customers can query high volume data in realtime.

QuasarDB is a clear innovation. QuasarDB enables you to store massive amount of data without sacrificing on query speed. The level of performances that one can leverage is clearly at least one order of magnitude over a lot of competitors. From the large selection of platforms and languages to high-performance compression features, it really simplifies the management of large scale databases. A must-have if performances on your whole stack is a required.

With Quasard we address a Smart City workflow.Fast and reliable Time Series Fatabase at scale is key for many workloads. Quasardb is doing just this. During my technical interactions with their team ideas impressed by the skill from high level programming to low level kernel discussion. Good financial market place platform.The software development team, really go deep on optimization and software quality, exploiting the best of Intel CPU. Very very few software platform are going that way, which explain the performance of the platform.
