I changed the questions on the page, but the response data was not updated to reflect that change.

Web Designer

The folks at MailerLite actually surprised me at how helpful they were in both the speed of their responses and the content of them too... like someone actually read my questions and actually answered them... not just sending me a link to their FAQ page, we've all had that kind of "no-help" help, and it can be maddening.

Videographer

The ease at which I've been able to create these assets has been fantastic - and when I've hit a roadblock and asked Customer Support for assistance the responses I've received have been very prompt and detailed - providing sufficient information - including annotated screenshots - to help me resolve my issue quickly and efficiently.

Occasional slow performance

Publisher

Early on in my adoption of MailerLite I did have some issues with the software loading slowly, and occasionally not loading at all.

Founder

The website is rather slow and heavy with scripts, which can cause some frustration when using.

67% of reviewers feel negative about MailerLite’s performance and speed. Users report slow loading times when importing contacts, navigating between sections, or editing campaigns. They say the platform can become laggy, especially with larger lists or during peak usage times. Reviewers mention experiencing delays, glitches, and occasional unresponsiveness, which can disrupt workflow and cause frustration. Some users indicate that these slowdowns are more noticeable after updates or when using the classic version, making time-sensitive tasks more challenging.

Formatting limitations and frustrations

The rich text composer can be infuriating - the backspace button on the keyboard has some sort of bug in that scenario where it will just delete an entire email. But I've just got into the habit of writing in Word and copy pasting into the email editor.

48% of reviewers feel negative about MailerLite’s text and image formatting. Users indicate that the editor can be restrictive, with limited options for customizing fonts, image sizes, and layouts. They mention issues like image size limits, difficulty aligning content, and challenges with block-based editing. Reviewers say that some formatting tools are unintuitive or buggy, leading to extra steps or workarounds. Many users express frustration with the inability to add custom CSS or achieve more advanced visual designs within the editor.

Form builder complexity and limitations

Self-employed

No video I had watched suggested this as a solution, and the directions on ML itself as to how to embed my form in a page involved the plug in and failed for me.

Small Business Owner

It's also a small gripe, but editing forms takes a bit longer than it should, as you have to click through a few screens to finally save your updated form.

41% of reviewers feel negative about MailerLite’s forms. Users say the form builder is not intuitive and can be slow to load or navigate. They report limited customization options, difficulties embedding forms on websites, and challenges with redirecting to custom thank-you pages. Reviewers mention glitches with WordPress integration and a lack of granular control over form appearance. Many users find the process of editing or linking forms to automations confusing, leading to extra time spent on setup and troubleshooting.

Strict account and domain controls

When you signup for Mailerlite's team takes 2-4 days to activate your account, so you can not use it instantly, you have to wait for their approval, I waited for 3 days :) and the website integration process is also strict.

59% of reviewers feel negative about MailerLite’s account and domain management. Users frequently mention difficulties with the account approval process, including long wait times and strict compliance checks. They say domain authentication can be cumbersome, requiring technical steps like DNS setup. Reviewers report unexpected account suspensions, limited support for appeals, and challenges managing multiple domains. Some users feel the process lacks transparency and flexibility, leading to frustration when accounts are restricted or deactivated without clear explanations.

Recurring bugs and glitches

Sometimes there are glitches - there's an ongoing one that hasn't been resolved for several months.

coach

Sometimes something goes wrong and it took me and my VA quite some headache why it was not working.

41% of reviewers feel negative about MailerLite’s bugs and technical issues. Users report encountering glitches in the editor, problems with automation workflows, and occasional errors during login or integration setup. They say some issues persist over time or require repeated troubleshooting. Reviewers mention that technical problems can disrupt their campaigns or make certain features unreliable. Many users note that while support is helpful, the presence of recurring bugs can make the platform feel less stable for ongoing use.

Designer

It's honestly quite wild to get email newsletter system with automations with up to 100 steps, unlimited forms and segments, 10 landing pages, A/B testing, click maps, and Stripe e-commerce integrations ...on a FREE tier!

Email Marketing Specialist

The automation builder and campaign reports are clear and practical, and the Shopify integration makes e-commerce tracking simple.

The ability to host multiple websites, landing pages, and email lists all within one platform is a huge advantage.

The free version is one of the most capable I’ve found — clean interface, solid deliverability, and enough features to run a real email strategy.

The e-commerce attribution settings could be more flexible — there's no option to adjust the attribution window or switch between open-based and click-based tracking from the dashboard.

Multiple Positions

There are a lot of design-tools for customisations And the best part is that they have a good customer-care support system currently!

The support documentation covers almost everything, and whenever I've had a unique request that falls outside the standard guides, the support team has been responsive and genuinely helpful.

Interior designer

The platform is user-friendly, visually modern, and offers strong automation and landing page features for small businesses and creators.

Author

Changing a text's color, bolding, formatting --I have to highlight text a second time for it to recognize I am trying to change it.

Office Manager

It's a little simple looking in the unpaid version, there are customisable options but the templates are hard to completely brand the way we want to.

I love how you can easily group your subscribers into groups to be able to send a campaign to those who need it while NOT sending to others.

Rebel and Founder Co-CEO Huda Beauty

Sending product launch invitations and sharing press releases with our influencer network requires a responsive tool.

The features (landing pages x10, email automations and HTML editors) and support for the cost is fantastic compared to other, better known competitors.

I would preffer to have more options to include paid products in the list so I could create a collection in the bottom of each email

WordPress And Shopify WebDesigner

The interface is clean, the automation builder is powerful without being complicated, and whenever I've needed help, the support team has been quick and helpful.

I experienced a stressful email delivery issue during setup, but the support team stayed patient, investigated the problem thoroughly, and helped me confirm that the automation system itself was working correctly.

Lama

It is an intuitive, reliable, and efficient platform that perfectly meets our email marketing and subscriber management needs.

Content Creator

Fantastic for starting a free email list with a 1k free subscriber cap after which you have to pay.

Only Employee - Author

The automations are incredibly confusing. And the fact that once they're live, they're on a timing system, has cost me many subscribers in the shuffle of it all.
