What is ShoutOUT?
ShoutOUT provides a business texting platform for personalized, automated, triggered, and scheduled text messages. It offers an SMS API gateway for two-way messaging and OTP API for two-factor authentication code generation and validation.
Businesses can send SMS to unlimited contacts from any country to any country. ShoutOUT is built on cloud infrastructure, which is capable of handling multiple SMS per second. Users can launch a campaign and use a dashboard to gain a 360° view of customer profiles.
ShoutOUT is compatible with Facebook, ShoutOUT Forms, and Woocommerce. Users can set up an automated SMS to be delivered once a potential customer signs up via Facebook lead forms or ShoutOUT Forms. With the Woocommerce integration, teams can set up automated or triggered SMS to be delivered to update customers and confirm order placement, payments, dispatches, deliveries and other required actions.
ShoutOUT, deployed in a VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) on AWS, is logically isolated and accessible only by authorized personnel via private secured connections. All services are deployed inside the VPC and exposed to the public via proxy endpoints with controlled access. It comes with fine-grained access, only exposing the necessary access types for other services. Application security uses a token-based authentication approach using JWT tokens.
ShoutOUT ensures its data protection by design that is compliant with GDPR.

SMS comes with character limitations that might make it difficult to include web links, since URLs are of a large number of characters. ShoutOUT has a link shortening tool in the SMS composing box, facilitation users to include long URLs in the SMS content, without having to use third party tools.

- Click tracking

- Two-way messaging
ShoutOUT is not limited to one-way communication where businesses can only send SMS. Users can also receive SMS from customers for conversational messaging in order to improve customer engagement.

With ShoutOUT messaging, each individual recipient feels as if the SMS was created just for them. Businesses can automatically include each customer name in the SMS content. In addition, customer specific custom data can also be included automatically with multiple custom attributes option.
- Triggered & automated SMS
Businesses can keep their customers updated on every action they take (eg: order confirmation, payment success, order dispatch, successful delivery etc.), with the option for unlimited triggers to automatically kick off SMS at the time and the way the user wants.
- Live SMS preview
How a business communicates with its customers reflects the quality of its products and services, too. A mobile phone screen placed next to the message compose box updates in real time with the message campaign the user is creating, for the user to double check that they are sending out an attractive, error-free message.
- Message templates
A set of pre-designed message templates are available for faster campaign creation. Users can also save the templates they create for repetitive use.
- Multiple sender IDs / mobile numbers per account
As businesses communicate with customers for different purposes, it is easier for both parties if the different types of SMS are easily recognizable. Multiple sender IDs (eg: ABC Promotions, ABC OTP, etc.) and mobile numbers can be used for a single user account. The sender IDs will be registered and provided in one business day to ensure efficiency.
