Operations Manager

The way it ties tickets, billing, contracts, and reporting together in one place makes a noticeable difference in efficiency, and the dashboards give great visibility into workloads and performance.

Director

The seamless integration with RMM agents adds incredible value, and the ability to sync invoices and expense claims directly into QuickBooks Online streamlines financial processes.

Business Operations Coordinator

The Cooper CoPilot AI has been especially valuable, providing tools that help us summarize customer tickets, create clearer timesheets, and write stronger resolutions.

Additionally, if Cooper CoPilot AI could analyze all past tickets across customers, it would help us identify recurring issues, regardless of which customer is experiencing them.

We rely on its CRM, quoting, purchasing, ticketing, asset management, and reporting capabilities.

Overall, Autotask helped create more structure and accountability, and made it easier to keep track of what matters in an MSP environment.

Email formatting remains a persistent issue — text, images, and hyperlinks often display incorrectly when tickets are created via email, which impacts clarity.

Help Desk Manager

It feels way behind the times without the ability to track customers inventory or products.

I also found the dashboards genuinely helpful, especially for monitoring workloads, SLAs, and profitability at a glance.

It helped us track metrics inside the system we were using without the need for any extra cost.

Support Engineer

Great search engine for finding previous issues to help find solutions for customers.

Founder

High cost per user translated to low value for the money.

Owner

Just starting out it’s massive product or come to grips with and can be difficult for new hires to understand and learn.

It needs a lot of improvements to ensure consistent U/I elements across all modules.

Senior Systems Administrator

Built in contracts and exclusions help track technician ticket times easier.

Director Application Development

The software is quite feature-rich with automation, and high levels of project management.

AVP - Systems Administrator

Without detailed knowledge into PSA products, I highly doubt you can set it up in a timely manner without the help of Kaseya support.

Desktop Support Technician

Autotask integrates seamlessly with all other resources my team uses.

Director of Professional Services

Integrations and API capabilities are limited but are still being developed.

I did not like how there was not customer inventory or configurations.

It continues to be a cornerstone tool for driving efficiency and control in our business.

Missing key project management APIs and Live Reports

IT Lead

It does a lot and can be a bit overwhelming to configure from an administrative standpoint.

Service Delivery Manager

Can be a little clunky, it’s a big engine with multiple modules.

Great CRM, all we need for our technicians, nice overview, you can build almost anything.

Systems Administrator

Often to do one task you need to press several buttons and it also is stuck between updated items and original items making buttons and looks different in some areas.

The onboarding fees are little on the expensive side, but that is typical Kaseya practices.

Configuration complexity, a lot of features that are helpful.

Creating timesheets are not particularly user friendly.

Senior Solutions Consultant

In fact we ended up using IT Glue for knowledge management and password management in 2017 because the inbuilt tools in Autotask were so bad.

Network and System Administrator

Product setup is challenging even with premium support.

This ability to collaborate has been very valuable and lead to reduced wait times and ticket-ownership confusion.

We don't use the CRM because it isn't as good as other products in tracking sales leads and opportunities.

Infrastructure Engineer

You don't need any formal training to start using AUTOTASK

Senior System Engineer

Reporting, while powerful, has a learning curve.

It has integrations with many products that enhance the capabilities and improve our operations.

Head of Projects

The ticket management system is excellent and the integrated contract and time management features are indispensable for MSPs that sell many different services.

IT Manager

Autotask Feature set, Work Flow rules, Notification templates and its dynamic templates to useTicket flow, Problem Management, Contract Details,Azure AD integration feature to set the Contacts sync with Azure AD

Its impossible to view project tasks in a Kanban view and Autotask lacks features common in other platforms to make managing agile projects simple. If Autotask hadn't been so deeply integrated in our organisation, I might well be using something else for managing our projects.

We are senior Autotask users and very happy to have bought in the past!

Support Manager

Autotask includes base level abilities for typical third party plugins with the option to integrate more feature rich plugins if desired.

Quality Assurance Manager

Due to the amount of customizations, searching can be tricky.

My experience with Autotask was nothing short of fantastic, and I really enjoyed using it.

System Specialist

However, it's important to be prepared for the software's complexity and occasional performance hiccups. If you can navigate these challenges, Autotask PSA can be a valuable tool for managing your professional services.

Very frustrated our initial efforts to emphasise specific requirements around integrated messaging from tickets received assurances and poor demonstrations misleading our understanding of the numerous product limitations.

It's easy to navigate and teach to a new hirte/user.
