The software enables online retailers to adapt the prices displayed alongside the goods and services advertised on their website depending on the location of their website visitors. Darwin Pricing records visitors' IP addresses and then - based on factors such as local competition and income level in their area - adjusts the prices the are displayed to them.
Retailers can also use Darwin Pricing to run geo-targeted sales campaigns, which have been shown to bring in twice as much revenue as traditional one-size-fits-all promotions. Online stores can also opt to present geo-targeted, conversion-optimized, dynamic coupon boxes that only show up for customers living in specific physical locations (as determined by them).
Darwin Pricing uses machine learning to perform exploratory pricing, A/B testing different prices on small groups of visitors to determine which ones perform well.
