Pros
It allows you to have the option to connect with other people on one social platform. You can use your facebook information to login to other online applications without having to create a login or user id. You can also choose to login by just clicking your photo and inserting your password. You have the options to send money and receive money via Facebook. You can make friend suggestions, decided if you want to show up in a online search preformed by a major search engine. You can determine the access others have to your photos, posts, friends, and even customize lists. You can create groups that are private, or public, and create personal pages. You can advertise to target specific people. You can intergrate your instagram or twitter feed to your Facebook. You can sell and buy things through the Facebook Marketplace. You can send audio messages via Facebook. Download photos from others' pages. You can block people via their FB page or email. If you die you can have a memorial for your page, you can also have trusted people in the event you are locked out or hacked to regain account access. They allow you to go live. You can easily find people. You can create your own FB domain to get to your profile to be found. They are always adding more features and capabilities for users to access and is a steadily growing social platform.

Cons
You have to download messenger seperately from Facebook to message others. You can never truly delete your account to start from scratch. If you lose email access to your account anyone can eventually reactivate your account. It takes a few complaints for Facebook to perm. delete an account that someone makes that is fake. You can only use your real name and not alias, which is understandable but too many name changes is not allowed. They want you to have only one FB account but if you can't delete your old account to start new it can be fustrating. Facebook is the main site harrassment and bullying occurs and some posts should not take so long to be removed as embarrassing and humiliating things can be posted about someone. It seems like they have so many features I forgot how to get to some of them as far as what screen i need to be on to access that feature. It can be confusing because a social media platform is virtually attempting to be a walmart online for social networks which is too much for one platform to have information about you when you can not perm. delete your account. Who wants a social network to keep that much information on them forever? That is quesitonable to even having a facebook account and knowing that.

Facebook is not only a joy to use for marketing our products but it also helps one relax and connect with friends.

Pros
Facebook makes it easy for me and my team to post adverts of our products and respond to customers quickly. We especially liked how it gives ad suggestions based on the content we have posted making it easier to communicate our products and brand to current and potential clients. The feature that has had the most impact for us is the flexible advertising budget, it makes it very easy and cost effective for us to do marketing even with a tight budget.

Cons
I think for the mobile application the messenger feature should be a part of the main app and not separate.

Fell out of love with Facebook even before the latest scandal

Pros
I'm trying to find some pros to say about Facebook, but as I was writing this, every time I mentioned what could be a positive, there was more negative to the positive than there was positive to the positive. I used to love Facebook and check it daily and gleefully update with pithy commentary on my life ... until I realized that I don't necessarily want everyone in the world to know every single aspect and detail of my life. I stopped using Facebook about a year ago because of this and when I realized I kind of didn't want to know the most minuscule aspect of everyone else's life so much either. At this point, I can't really say Facebook has a lot going for it right now. Great, you can share pictures of the grand kids, but wait, do you really want to put pictures of your grand kids out there in the vastness of the Internet for any weirdo to access? I mean, on dating sites, the smart parents blur the faces of their kids if they post pictures of themselves with their children. Sure there are games on there, but I can get games on my phone. Sometimes there are businesses and groups that have FB pages that you need to access to find out information, but really, they could just as easily create a private website or use a number of different apps to do the exact same thing. I don't want to sign into various websites using my FB account, because really, why should FB have all this information about me? Oh, yeah, to sell for a couple billion dollars to companies who are then going to target you for everything from cruises to real estate in Bali. This is similar to my uneasiness of the growing tendrils that Google has into my personal life. Nothing is personal anymore. And you can't trust FB not to be one big gigantic sell out at the expense of its users. So if there was anything positive in there, great, because I tried. I really tried.

Cons
Everything. Corporate backstabbing of its users by selling for a massive profit the information of its users. Obviously. I mean, everybody knows about that. And they all probably know too that it sure took a really long time for Zuckerberg to come out of hiding and face the music. And wow look at that shooting star coming down. No wait, that's FB's stock price. As I mentioned above, FB is too invasive and I realized it about a year ago. I don't want them knowing every website and my passwords for it - which is what happens is you click "sign in with FB" when you're going into a website that offers that feature. Why? It's not because I'm visiting the dark web or porn sites, but some of these sites are ones that ask for your personal information, like credit card information and so forth. Also, don't ever get into a boxing match on FB with someone because potential employers regularly check your FB and other social media accounts before coming to a decision on hiring you. So take down all those pics with you wearing the marijuana shirts and holding up the peace sign. Also, I was literally bullied by another adult who should know better on FB for months - who wrote slanderous, terrible things, and complaints to FB about these posts were never answered. Despite setting up security restrictions on my account, exboyfriends were able to access and post on my FB page, even though I had limited as much as I could through the security options. Overall, FB has completely face-planted in my opinion and it's a site I'd be happy to never visit again. Except for my next visit, which will be to take down my FB page.

Facebook is great, especially when you want to keep in touch with your friends!

Pros
Facebook is a great software to keep in touch with your friends all around the globe! There's many mini games you can play with your friends, follow your favorite celebrities and many more functionalities! More importantly it comes with a messenger application where you can see whoever's online and have a conversation with them on Facebook!

Cons
There are only a few cons about Facebook. Once you click on the comment section of a post and there's people commenting on it your feed will be pushed down and it can make your display very jittery which gets quite annoying. Also, Facebook shoots out random ads that you don't even know where they come from.

Best platform to raise awareness about a product or service at the moment

Overall, a great way to reach many people with less effort.

Pros
Facebook Insights and Pixel make this a lot easier to use for advertising. You will be given charts, feedback, and suggestions on when to post or which geographical location to target when posting your ad.

Cons
You will have to spend more to reach significant number of people. Organic reach is almost not possible due to Facebook prioritizing the "people side" of the platform in the newsfeed instead of it being just a platform full of ads. I think that's fair and wise for Facebook. But then for you as a marketer, that means more ad spend.
