Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

inSign overview
What is inSign?
inSign is a web-based software package, which can also be used via an app, for the legally secure signing of documents. All signature types specified under eIDAS regulations (EES, FES, and QES) are supported, but a touch-sensitive device is required for FES. Using a form editor, users can drag and drop checkboxes, text, and signature fields into documents and define them as either optional or mandatory for signatories.
inSign allows all documents to be quickly exported and the recorded signature data is automatically embedded in the document. The audit report documents each signature process with the date, details of the actions, event types, and time of the events, so the signature process can be traced at any time. This log can help clarify legal disputes.
inSign software sends automatic notifications to keep users informed of the status and to notify signatories of extended inactivity as soon as a document has been approved for signature. Their servers are located in Germany and the electronic signature process takes into account all applicable legal regulations (GDPR, eIDAS, BGB, and BDSG), so this software package offers a high level of security.
