Kausal Watch is a SaaS platform that helps public administrations with planning, managing, and collaborating on sustainable initiatives. It allows various departments to collaborate and update the progress of actions in a common platform. Distributed data updates and automatic real-time dashboard reduce overhead related to managing, communicating, and reporting on the climate work publicly.

All employees in charge of specific actions are reminded by the platform to keep the information related to their actions and KPIs up to date. The public UI is updated automatically as information about actions is modified. A separate moderating phase is also available if needed. The data platform also hosts internal information on the actions, which does not show up on the public UI.

Kausal Watch provides continuous development as API-based Open Source (AGPLv3) software to improve collaboration. The platform integrates with various third-party internal strategy, planning, project, and data management solutions, as well as existing community engagement platforms and open data portals. It offers two-way APIs to make sure that data is inputted only once and can be used wherever it is needed. Master data resides where the city wants it. The system is compliant with US ADA & EU accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1 AA) and data security guidelines, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
