What is Publisher Pro?
With all features turned on, Interactive Wayfinding software can show the full layout of an area. It can show routes to locations, display a user's current position, and provide additional information like the opening or closing time. The software can show dynamic map popups with wheelchair routes or detour paths with real-time rerouting. It supports route scheduling and has options for enhancing views of 3D maps.
Augmented reality means paths, symbols, and raw information are overlaid on the top of a live video feed streaming from a user's mobile device camera. The software can track a user's progress and alter AR features to suit the orientation of the user's mobile device. It does this by using a mobile device's geolocation and gyroscopic hardware. It aims to provide users with better ease of use. The AR features can also function on different physical levels; for example, pointing the mobile device down to see floor directions or viewing up to see the locations of fire escapes.
