What is dls | technical documentation?

Technical Documentation is an essential module for optimizing the creation and updating of technical documentation, particularly with regard to the requirements of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR). This module offers a comprehensive solution for document management that effectively covers both individual documents and process-oriented dossier management. With our module, users are able to easily create and manage site master files, tool logbooks, drug master files, QM documents, project folders, validation documents and other relevant documents.

An outstanding feature of this module is the management of templates for different dossier structures. This allows users to delegate specific tasks to editors within each chapter of a dossier, resulting in a significantly streamlined workflow. In addition, the module is seamlessly integrated into the document control system so that the completeness of the dossiers and the current processing status can be monitored at all times.

Users also have the option of creating versions of their dossiers and accessing older versions at any time. They can add comments with different priorities to optimize the review process.

In addition, the module offers a function for exporting the entire dossier or selected parts as a PDF or ZIP file and enables these documents to be printed. An integrated electronic signature, which is GxP-compliant, as well as audit trail functions ensure secure and compliant management of all documents. Users can classify dossiers via attributes in the ECM d.velop documents (formerly d.3ecm), which ensures that important documents can be found quickly and organized efficiently.
