What is ToolBox?

Tempus Tools is a web-based platform that assists with laser cutting price and time quoting. It includes a drag-and-drop interface and DXF or DWG files, Users can export time and price for all processes, export/import materials database, customize quote letter, output quote as PDF or hyperlink and customize their own rules for quoting. Teams can add material from the existing database, and convert tonne rate to sheet price.

Users can add customers and their contacts from an existing database, add customers, create new or use existing contacts, set a default contact, drag-and-drop 3D sheet metal model directly in the interface, view and explode 3D model files within the ToolBox 3D viewer, detect material type, thickness, and part quantity automatically, and extract 2D sheet metal components for calculation and export as 2D parts in DXF or DWG. Businesses can develop 2D parts from 3D models and extract the sheet metal parts from the 3D drawing and add them into quotes. It helps professionals calculate folding time and price, multi-select parts and designate layer names as ‘folding’ in bulk from a single screen, and select ‘drawing’ to calculate the number of folds and identify the largest fold in the part automatically and select ‘manual’ if they want to override the folding inputs.

Organizations can input and manage all secondary processes using multiple calculation modes, including by quantity, weight, or area. The parametric parts library helps users develop standard parts, select from a wide range of parts including brackets, flanges, gussets, and plates and define parts by customizing dimensions, diameters, and the relative shape of the geometry. It lets teams configure pricing rules by material and by customer, offer pricing discounts for customers, and access the parts library database and estimate history.

Businesses can customize quote letters and output, upload company logos and add footer text within payment terms. Professionals can save quotes as a PDFs and export the quote hyperlink for easy access by the customer.
