Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

MFlow overview
What is MFlow?
MFlow is a delivery intelligence platform designed for Jira that provides engineering managers and product teams with automated project health monitoring and AI powered project management capabilities. The software connects directly to Jira through OAuth two point zero authentication and analyzes project data automatically to deliver real time visibility into sprint performance, delivery metrics, and project risks without requiring manual configuration or custom field setup.
The platform centers around its Project Stability Index, a proprietary health score that ranges from zero to one hundred. MFlow categorizes projects into Stable for scores of eighty and above, Watch for scores from sixty to seventy-nine, Risk for scores from forty to fifty-nine, and Critical for scores below forty. The PSI is computed automatically from Jira changelog transitions and project activity patterns. The platform tracks comprehensive delivery metrics derived entirely from Jira changelog data. Metrics include cycle time to measure task completion duration with trend analysis, throughput to assess planned work completion, reopen rate to reflect task returns to prior states, delivery accuracy, and due date coverage. Risk detection scans projects continuously for backlog growth patterns, cycle time regression across sprints, stale tasks that remain unchanged for extended periods, repeated task reassignments, and overdue items. Risk flags surface at both project and individual task levels before issues escalate into sprint-blocking problems.
An AI assistant component maintains full contextual awareness of all connected Jira projects. It retains information on ticket details, blockers, sprint progress, due dates, and historical patterns. Users query project information in natural language and receive data-backed answers rather than generic recommendations. The AI supports actionable commands that allow management of Jira boards without opening Jira directly. Supported actions include creating individual tasks with specifications, bulk creating multiple tasks from a list, initiating and managing sprints, moving tickets between statuses, updating ticket fields, and executing bulk operations across multiple items simultaneously. MFlow provides multiple analytical views including a studio view for portfolio-level oversight, a project view for individual project analysis, a team view for resource allocation assessment, and an individual view for personal workload tracking.
The platform integrates exclusively with Atlassian Jira through an OAuth two point zero authentication flow. Initial setup involves selecting Jira projects and specifying a historical data range from one month to two years. MFlow performs a complete initial synchronization followed by incremental updates that fetch only changed data. The system processes Jira tasks, project metadata, changelog history, and sprint data while excluding comments, attachments, and non-delivery-related information. All processed data powers the project health scoring, metric calculations, risk detection, and AI responses. The AI chat interface is persistent across all application pages and supports full-screen expansion for extended analysis sessions while maintaining conversation context.
