We love this tool. However, it's limits in manage resources is a limit for professional services firm. For discrete project management, it's great.

Smartsheet originally came to my attention as a project management tool.  Overall, pretty weak for project schedule and resource management.  Best for RAID log management - just one component of project management.  The team collaboration capabilities are only fair.

Better for general action tracking than project management 

We use this product as an alternative to Microsoft Project for more junior project managers. The Project Sheet template offers automation through dependency and duration settings, without the complication of resource calculations. The best part is the collaborative features and the ability for non-licensed users to participate as collaborators.
