Pros

So natural to utilize Very visual Price is correct Easy to add/eliminate individuals Search ability is superb.
The product has a good look and is easy to use. Regarding the integration of the processes, it is very good and agile with the other members.
Excellent software to maintain the progress as a team and achieve the targets as a team. Monitor the team's progress and a wonderful application full of tools helps us to do things right.

Pros

There are premade templates that are great, and provides awesome insight on how powerful the software really is. I frequently use their social media calendar, and the project list.
I like to see a whole month's worth of content at one time. It is also super helpful that one team member can upload content and another can download from a different location.
I love the low price-point and the amazing customer service they have, by far one f the most powerful low-cost database/spreadsheet tool out there.

Cons

The accidental "drag/move/delete" is scary for us because you can accidentally move a card when you're just trying to scroll over on the screen and that can be problematic.
Fear of insecurity is a shortcoming of the apps. Some bad people can use this app for their ill purpose.
I HATE that i can not see the archived tasks on the calender as an option. Not being able to archive a task after you complete it and still see it on the calender is a bummer.

Cons

What I dislike most about this software is that I cannot type extended sentences in one box. Whenever I try to paste a long sentence or paragraph the words go into the rows beneath.
Some features around forms are notably missing and it is hard to integrate work-arounds.
It was a mess trying to get it set up. Initially it was set up with separate paid spaces and then trying to get everything onto an enterprise plan was a huge headache.

A pioneer but not as good as airtable

Good, but it didnt turn me on really. Their UX isn't as great as airtables.

Pros

We used it in my old job, and also during a startup incubator me and my team attended. It is an ok tool for project management, but back in 2019 when I used it daily it was not so easy to integrate some of the other apps. We combined it with a gantt chart app to avoid paying, which worked ok. It was my introduction to agile software back then- but after discovering airtable last year, I have never wanted to change back to trello.

Cons

Not so easy to add extra features/integrate apps, not as easy to handle as airtable. boring ux, or at least not as attractive as airtable- which we use now.

Pros

I've used this tool for task management for many years. It serves it's purpose really well overall and is a great tool.

Cons

Trello can feel very cluttered after a while which is kind of hard to avoid if you want a quick snapshot view of your workload in one place.

Solid tool but needs a facelift

I enjoyed using it and thought was easy to understand but needs some more UI upgrades and more functionality in comparison to Airtable

Pros

Trello was an early player to the market as far as I could tell a few years ago - the Kanban board was essential for internal process management. Having integrated notifications and tagging other colleagues was helpful for keeping everyone in the loop about status updates within an internal process.

Cons

In comparison to Airtable, which I use now, it seems it doesn't have as many features. With Airtable they have a ton of other modes you can morph your data into (outside of Kanban) in addition to reporting/graphs/etc.

It's very flexiable, and very custom. Its hard to get advanced and techincal with it. You can do some cool stuff with Zapier integrations. I think I pefer airtable,.

Pros

Easy to use, I like the way attachments work, it is perfect for small projects, planning, etc. I would compare it to another software system I have used called airtable. But I perfer airtable over trello from a data management standpoint.

Cons

The sky is the limit, so there is no end to how you can use it, but that means a lot of clutter. I have a lot of different boards that I don't use. It's not there fault, It would be nice to see more case studies were people have success with Trello. It's only as good as you use it. If you aren't a structured person, you'll not get much structure from the software, in my opinion.

Pros

It's simple and straightforward. Like powered up notepad notes with extra features. And that's a good thing, enabling intuitively use it from 1st day onwards.

Cons

It was covering our needs well until I discovered Airtable and that you can do so much more with that. I feel that while Trello is still a nice tool, I personally have started using more Airtable and Miro for team collaboration now.

Never understood the value. It may have changed, but I'm very happy with Asana and Airtable.

Pros

Didn't love it. The price isn't bad but if you're going to put the time investment into a software like this, go with someone else

Cons

I've built tech stacks at 10 companies, and this was probably my least favorite. Some of my colleagues liked it, but I stayed in Google Docs until we switched to Asana.

I am relatively happy with trello and it is great for a large percentage of people that just want to track one project, but if you want more features, there are better services that are free out there.

Pros

I like the layout and the ease of use of trello. We used it to share details about upcoming events.

Cons

I thought that it still lacked some of the functionality of other softwares out there like airtable, asana, monday, etc.

It's a good starter point. However, as things start to get populated, it's probably better to move to ClickUp or AirTable

Pros

I like that Trello is free to begin with, which makes life very easy to switch to it. Just like Slack, Trello is a leader in kanban boards.

Cons

You have to pay to get any extra features, which can become very expensive. You cannot also look at the data in different ways like ClickUp

I really liked it. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants a simple, yet robust solution for a variety of purposes.

Pros

I really loved the flexibility of this kanban software. It allows you to customize each board and kanban boards pretty easily. Though it doesn't offer as many features as certain dedicated project management software, or other dedicated use case software, it offers the ability to be used for a lot of different purposes and is simple.

Cons

If I am using for project management software, I would rather use clickup or airtable for additional features for the kanban functionality.

Although it does integrate with a lot of other platforms and Zaps, it is nonetheless quite limited compared to airtable, miro etc.

Not the best I've used, when comparing to AirTable and Monday.com

My experience was limited as I didn't try to customize or reorganize anything, I was a customer of a graphics design agency that invited us to their board as part of the workflow. However, since this is what they use all the time, I'm assuming they've spent adequate time customizing it and if that's what they thought was 'good', then I'm not impressed, especially considering I've used better, similar products for many months.

Pros

It seemed to work well for our graphics design agency. The workflow they had set up made it easy to see what was in the pipeline and the status of each.

Cons

The interface and the features seem a bit dated when compared to AirTable and Monday. The UX isn't as colorful or aesthetically pleasing either.

Simplistic.... maybe too simplistic

Very useful for lists such as a to-do list, I have not found it useful for anything more than that as of yet. I will continue using it. However, it doesn't give anything competitive over other notes software.

Pros

It's really easy to use, very organized, the app is just as good as the web/browser version.

Cons

It's overly basic to the point whether I use it more as a supplemental program, for other software - such as Airtable, which is my main database.

Not Terrible for Task Management, But Lags Behind Other Products for Me

I think Trello is probably a good product for certain people, but my organization found Airtable to be far superior and didn't end up sticking with Trello for long.

Pros

Trello offers features that many other task management/project management software does. You can organize tasks into these "boards" or "cards" that some people might find appealing.

Cons

I found the whole system to be unnecessarily "loud" and a little too complex. The boards and cards thing and the way it was all organized just didn't appeal to me, and my organization ultimately went with a more streamlined platform that more of our users, myself included, preferred.

I see the value but not for me

A client uses Trello to track grant opportunities and it has been useful for this. I wouldn't use it for project management, though. I prefer Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, and other smoother interfaces.

Pros

How it presents information in kanban/board view

Cons

Trello isn't smooth enough for me. It requires multiple clicks to edit a board and I just don't like the interface.

Pros

Imagine a wall of sticky notes, but digitally created and organized in a manner where everyone knows what to pay attention to, what's being worked on, etc. Trello is able to expertly organize cards and tasks between all groups to maintain maximum efficiency.

Cons

As software ages competition grows. There are other software out there (example AirTable) that are challenging Trello's digital-organization-space by adding in what Trello does alongside with clear visuals on what is displayed

Needs to keep up with competitors

I have enjoyed using it, but am currently using other products which enable different 'views' of the same data

Pros

I used to love the ease of using Trello, however, software like Notion and Airtable now have functions which rival Trello. However, I'm sure the recent acquisition by Atlassian will lead to many changes in the software.

Cons

Not being able to style columns visually (e.g. adding a spacer column between Backlog and To Do)

Pros

Trello is intuitive to get started with, but has a lot of additional functionality that can be discovered as one gets familiar with it. Having a free tier also makes it great for personal projects etc.

Cons

Innovation has stagnated a bit lately, and some competitors have surpassed Trello in a number of ways. If it's not broken don't fix it, so perhaps this is not really a negative, but comparing to Airtable Trello feels old.

Entry level to advanced management

Trello own the verb for this space like red bull ! A great product in free or paid. Just beware you don’t already pay for something in your cloud stack that offers this already!

Pros

Trello is a fantastic tool. The free to use solution is great for Kanban and time management. Works really well across a cross collaborative team. Easy to set up. Tagging and colour coding is easy. Great app connectivity.

Cons

Trello is a great tool and I think they have coined the verb for kanban Board management. Due to a systems review, we pay for gsuite, therefore keep works equally well, alongside the Jira management. We have in this solution. Having tried airtable and Monday. All have pros and cons.

Trello is the original kanban board

It's functional and does what it's supposed to do.

Pros

I like how you can add visuals to your cards to be able to easily see what your project is at a glance. I really like that you can create subtasks and add important information to the project.

Cons

I think I found a board that I like better. I think Trello is excellent but not as good as AirTable in that there is less functionality. I can change your table from a calendar based to a list based to a kanban based project board. Cholo is so excellent though.

Fine for basic kanban but better options exist

For cloud kanban collaboration, I've switched to Airtable, which does everything Trello can but with better looks and interface and board views. Going back to play in Trello feels so dated. It was fine in the beginning, but enhanced functionality from younger competitors leaves the old master in the dust.

Pros

Trello is an OK starter kanban board to organize ideas, assign responsibilities, and track progress. You can color code cards, tag team members, and chart workflow.

Cons

I have no patience for Trello's clunky user interface. What ruins it for me is the lack of markdown syntax in card titles that run all the text together without line breaks. Sure you can add syntax and checklists inside the cards, but I need control over the text in the card titles for at-a-glance viewing. Trello just feels limited when compared to its competitors.

It's simple, streamlined experience. It just works. I use it mostly for following other companies roadmaps.

Pros

It's free and easy to use. Trello is a very popular application for managing tasks. A lot of companies use it for project management and roadmaps. Boards can be public and accessed by everybody.

Cons

It's not for every project. At it's core, Trello is a kanban board, but nothing else. So if you need a more versatile tasking tool, you better look for Airtable or Infinity. Those tools a far more flexible and gives you more views of the same data such as list, table and forms.

I think this could be useful if you need more functionality than Excel/Sheets, but it's a bit lacking to use as an overall project management tool

Pros

Our team migrated from Google sheets to Airtable. Airtable has much more functionality than GSheets, but i find a lot of the features difficult to understand/it's been it's difficult to maximize its functionality for my purposes. For example, we use a Trello Board for task management and use Airtable as a database of all our content

Cons

It doesn't integrate easily with Trello or Notion

This rendered so many other programs (Evernote, Trello, Google Sheets, etc.) obsolete for my planning and organizing purposes.

Pros

I love the ease of this database program integrated with rich image, link, multiple select and formula fields, especially with the Blocks reporting and further features availability! Amazing program to organize anything, from product feature details and social content assets to recipe meal plans and wedding planning.

Cons

I wish we could pull data in from other Bases so that I didn't have to copy-paste repetitively.

Was a bit too much for us

Okay, it depends on your needs. We resorted to using Trello. It was simplier and fit out needs much better.

Pros

Does more than most comparable tools, very flexible, and price efficient.

Cons

Does everything, so it requires a bit of setup. We found the onboarding was too long. It took over an hour to configure it as per our needs. I think the mass of options was what caused the confusion.
